Office Espresso Upgrade . What Would You Buy? [$10,000]

Find a local repair technician and ask if they sell and service any commercial superautomatic units. Unfortunately a semi automatic like a typical commercial machine you’d see in a cafe isn’t practical. Someone with no training or interest in training should be able to walk up and get a drink. For t

First superauto for family: KitchenAid KF7/KF8 vs Bosch 800 vs DeLonghi

Edit: We tried the Bosch 500 from Costco, not the 800. The 800 doesn't have the bypass chute. TLDR: We ended up with the KF8, after getting and returning both a Jura J8, and the Bosch 800. I'll try to answer since it seems like I was in your shoes a few months ago. I made the switch from a Lelit Eli

Superautomatic for a 183-unit apartment building - looking for suggestions

How many cups are you expecting to go through? Is the machine for any tenants use any time or will it just be sitting in an office for the workers and occasionally the people/tenants that come by during business hours? If the latter something like this might work https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/co

Kitchen Aid or Terra Kaffe

You say that but you don't seem to know where the machines are made. I used to buy bosh 800 plus dishwashers which were the top of the line. The KitchenAid dishwashers show them up now, they are very well built so if actually consider a KitchenAid appliance if it made sense. KitchenAid doesn't made

Is Jura or Delonghi a big upgrade?

Jura is. Delonghi is a little upgrade. I've had Delonghi, jura and tk02. Honestly if you are in the US get a KitchenAid on insiders pass for $800-$1200. Night and day difference over the tk02 in coffee and build quality. The tk02 can't grind well so it's pretty lack luster. The coffee of the Kitchen

High-end super automatic owners (JURA, Miele, etc), what convinced you that you had buy one?

Few reasons, but the primary are #1 I have buyers remorse, often it's easier to buy the best and know i will be happy, than upgrade in 2 years and take a loss on the old equipment. #2 I returned the jura E8 because the cleaning process of carrying water around was annoying and it didn't balance well

Jura Giga 10 is universally hated in my household

I’ve had a Giga 10 for about a year and a half. Sure, the power button cover is a little odd but if you just push on the back of the cover with your finger it pops open. Seeing the water level would be nice and I’ve encountered similar problems with drip trays across other machines. Mine doesn’t lea

KF8 Users - Don't Sleep on the Ristretto

You can go through my posts about different machines and my review on the kitchenaid. Pictures videos ect. I'm not a influencer, just a retailer k who likes to hunt out the value/performance. The KA stands on its on merit. The only better espresso is maybe jura but that is subjective as jura uses ar

High-end super automatic owners (JURA, Miele, etc), what convinced you that you had buy one?

I am a dark roast black drinker. After trying them all for 45days looking for the best cup the swiss made machines made better espresso/coffee at slightly larger cup sizes. For example I usually have great 3oz lungo or 3.5 to 4oz 1:1 Americanos. The Delonghi machines would clog too easily on finer g

Am I Crazy? Exchanging Jura ENA 8 for KitchenAid KF7

I have the Giga 10 but have some friends with the ENA 8. Theirs makes great drinks. While I believe the KF is going to be a step up over the Philips line, I don’t know that you’ve given the Jura a fair shake either. I’ve had a couple of them and it’s taken me more than 5 preparations to get it diale
