New bookshelf shelfie

JBL 306p studio monitors. They have the 10” subwoofer under the desk as well. I’m kind of a sound nut so I’ll give the long answer if anyone is interested: these were the cheap option for studio monitors but they give a pure reference sound that gives you exactly what was mixed in the studio. Almost

Upgrade no edifier s350db

Is this mold ?

I'm not here to argue, but I used to own them. They were my first standalone speakers except for some rando pc speakers. They were a HUGE upgrade for me and I loved them.... Before I got my JBL LSR 306p MK2 and I realized what I was missing, midrange is very important for enjoying any music I'd say.

Disappointed by KRK Rokit RP5 G5 monitor in comparison to old ADAM AUDIO F5

With little experience i gathered until now in sound world and considering your taste as its described partly in main post and also asking price and while i read almost all replies and since you don't search for 8" woofer then i think that Adam T7V, Mackie MR624, JBL 306P, Focal Alpha 65 Evo, Preson

How does a better expensive monitors change things?

I got the JBL 306P and they sound so much better than the over ears I’d used previously.

I am looking for smallish speakers.

For $800 you could get a WiiM Ultra used as a preamp with JBL 306P v2 powered speakers. That would be a banger of a second system.

These are the JBL 306P. I got them for free from a buddy of mine that has retired Djing sadly 🥲. I make great use of them though!

Soundblab bookshelf speakers with waveguide and passive radiator.

The JBL 306P are studio monitors. They're designed primarily for music studios, not Hi-Fi listening in a normal living room. Ps. they're are a few Hi-Fi speakers Erin has reviewed that are linear accurate and he has said he enjoyed the music kept playing them... You should check out Erin's review vi

Setup Under $1000

1000 can get you the Kali IN-8 on sale right now, you won't beat that. Look at the kali mm6 too. Klipsch Sevens or nines. Jbl 306p, Adam t7v, kali, or the powered klipsch. IN-8 being the best, but all very good. Only the klipsch has a phono input, so the others would require a phono preamp or turnta

Finally Complete!!! (First build)

I'm not even close to a speaker expert but I'm a big audio nerd and I've been in the market for speakers too for a little while now And it depends on what your use case is, for only desktop use (will sound amazing sitting at your desk, but if you want to use them to fill your entire room with sound
