JBL Speakers in a cabinet or bookshelf

Unless you are fabulously wealthy, the JBL 4309 seem overkill for your goals. I think you could cram almost any active speaker in a bookshelf and be happy with the sound. JBL 306P at $400 will probably be fine if you don’t consider yourself an audiophile. They will sound plenty good enough. You coul

Gifted my boyfriend a DDJ-FLX4, need speaker recommendations

I'd recommend a pair of 5-6 inch studio monitors - you will only need the monitors (no separate amp needed). Some popular not too expensive models: - JBL 305 or 306P - Kali LP5 or LP6 - Yamaha HS5 - KRK Rokit 5 Note that he'll also need a pair of headphones as well. Senheisser HD25 are a popular mod

Best monitors under $2,500 a pair for office space (music and video editing)

The 306P is actually good if you can’t hear the amp noise. I’ve owned JBL 305P, Focal Shape 65, Genelec 8030C, and 8341A. Would probably go Focal for the more pleasant aesthetics.

New bookshelf shelfie

JBL 306p studio monitors. They have the 10” subwoofer under the desk as well. I’m kind of a sound nut so I’ll give the long answer if anyone is interested: these were the cheap option for studio monitors but they give a pure reference sound that gives you exactly what was mixed in the studio. Almost

Studio Speakers

JBL 305P or 306P for solid low end or the KRK Rokit G4 if you want more bassy character and built in EQ, avoid the HS5 unless you plan to add a sub or bigger woofers and treat the room.

[Help Needed] Smart Speaker Setup with Home Assistant (₹20K–₹30K Budget)

WiiM’s products are likely the way to go. And note, as you probably have seen, that they don’t otherwise have microphones for voice control — besides in their additional/optional remote controller. Also we would usually recommend at least WiiM Pro Plus, because it has better DAC than Mini or Pro. Bu

My T7Vs are in transit. Is it worth returning them for T5Vs for a 80cm desk setup? (No Sub)

while the 7 inch will give you plenty of bass, for real house shaking bass youll still need a sub. my main speakers have 9 inch cones and i still cross them over at 80 hz to my svs pb 2000 pro sub. the thing with bigger cones is less distortion at bigger volumes. its not "only" a bass thing, its tha

What studio monitors do you recommend these days?

Here are my two recommendations depending on what you're trying to do. If you're trying to mix in an untreated room I would go with the Adam D3Vs. Really accurate for the price and you wont be fighting with the room. They have more bass response than the Eris 3.5's but nothing to write home about. I

Edifier T5 vs T5s, Other then size, is there a reason to go one way or the other?

if you dont have any other options it will make a good difference. however, the r1700dbs dont have an app afaik. the edifier app lets you set a crossover point so that the speakers integrate well with a sub. if you dont have a crossover you might end up making your sound actually worse because of ca
