Warranty just expired any chance this is fixable?
I have had this happen twice now on my j9+ combo, both times it happened were after the warranty expired. Each time I just contacted iRobot through the chat and sent them picture and explained what was happening. They escalated it to their safety unit and then send me a new home base both times. The

To combo or not to combo?
Have 705 max combo. Love it. Set it up in the app, make sure your mapping run has zero obstacles, move furniture out of the way so it can map correctly, set up your automations to vacuum 3 days a week and mop 2 days a week in the middle of the night then LEAVE IT ALONE. Other than cleaning the robot

Max 705 Combo: $900. How is it?
505 has different mop types and are a bit messier, you’ll have to clean the base more often. They also have an extended bit on top that the 705 does not. Unfortunately I cannot give more info on the 705 yet atm cause my J9+ Combo recently killed its own brush head tab/latch and I am now waiting on a

Stuck On Deciding
I love love love my 10R — I’m from Roombaland also, having switched just a few weeks ago when my J9+ Combo suffered the dreaded warped-charging-contact issue only a few months out of warranty and Roomba offered me a measly $150- toward replacing it outright at current market pricing. I’m actually gl

20 Years with Roomba, bought my first Roborock
It’s been interesting to me, also brand new to the Roborock brand, to see more than a few recent converts like myself posting here who also remained loyal to Roomba for perhaps way too long and to our own detriment. Your story mirrors my own, right down to the near-Dyson path we could’ve taken. Like

Any Robot Vacuum Recommendations?
from what ive seen, brands like roborock, roomba, and eufy are the most popular right now. roborock tends to have the besto verall performance and smart mapping, roomba is super reliable, and eufy is great if you want something more budget-friendly. also worth knowing: newer models with lidar mappin

GET.THE.ROBOT.VACUUM.
I bought a J9+ Combo. Loved it so much that I bought a refurbished one off eBay directly from iRobot (a J7+) for my second story. Those little vacuums have been a literal lifesaver for me. I am grateful for them every day! Also, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about worrying about pet messes. Both

Tell me the 10r gets better
Same - I love mine! It does take much longer to clean than my last robot vacuum, a Roomba J9+ Combo, and I thought it was due to the different technology, platform, and the (in my opinion) far more thorough job I believe the 10R seems to be doing. This is my first Roborock. I run mine during the day

Best robot vacuum for cat hair on hard floors
I personally do NOT recommend the Roomba J9+ (vacuum only, but I’ve heard wayyy worse about the vacuum/mop model so def not that one) It’s supposed to be top of the line Roomba and made for pet homes but I’ve had such a headache since purchasing. Warranty is 6mo and we started having issues as early

I'm overwhelmed and need help finding the right unit
I have a j7+ (6 months downstairs $335 Black Friday or Total Tech deal at Best Buy) and a Combo j9+ (18 months upstairs $999). The combo mops and vacuums. j7 just vacuums. Both have the clean base which requires bags. The only issue I’ve had with the j7 is it sometimes gets lost. And the sensor some
