Folks, this is a serious problem. I can't keep up with vacuuming every day and am considering a roomba but not sure that it will be value for the money. How well does your robot vacuum clear fur from carpet? Especially like to hear from those with two or more GSDs!
So I have a roomba j9+. It empties itself. It runs every day after I leave for work. It does an excellent job and I've had it for 3 years now. You will have to perform maintenance, i.e. cleaning the dustbin and its sensors, replacing rollers as they wear out, replacing the little spinny bit as it we

What are some products you've bought that were game changers for you?
I've got a Roomba J9+ and a Braava jet mop. I love it but I have to run vacuum every day and make sure it's clean/maintened well.

To combo or not to combo?
Have 705 max combo. Love it. Set it up in the app, make sure your mapping run has zero obstacles, move furniture out of the way so it can map correctly, set up your automations to vacuum 3 days a week and mop 2 days a week in the middle of the night then LEAVE IT ALONE. Other than cleaning the robot

Our first robot vacuum: Roborock Qrevo S or ECOVACS T20 Omni or Dreame L10s Ultra
I’ve been using the Roborock Saros 10r for months and still haven’t had a single hair get tangled in there. Look for their models with the “DuoDivide” brush. I have 2 pets and a wife with long hair, so I honestly didn’t expect it to work this well. So much better than the piece of junk roomba j9+ th

Roomba Combo 10 Max Ongoing Issues
Hi .. .We have both the j9+ combo and the MAX 10 and have solutions to most of the issues you mention. As I have repaired robotic cleaners for many years, I have found several ways to correct the issues, some through slight modifications or, in some cases, by adjusting how we use the features. They

Robot Vacuums?
I have 3 dogs…1 is Husky, the other border collie and a ridgeback. Basically they all shed a lot but have different types of hair and each is a challenge. I have Roomba J9+ (just vacuum) and I run it every day. It can’t miss a day otherwise it’s too much for the poor little vacuum. But if you run it

Are robot vacuums worth it?
Just avoid Roombas. They're really loud so you can't really run them when you're in the house whereas Eufy and Roborock are very quiet (maybe not all of them just the ones I've seen). Roombas have also fallen behind on software, I spent €900 to replace my 4 year old 960 with a J9+ Combo, it's consta

1 year anniversary
I do also find doing a dedicated vacuum ahead of a vacuum + mop helps provided a more thorough mopping. I have a Roomba j9+ that I was going to sell when I got my s1 pro but soon discovered with all the dogs and girls in my house, the hair management was critical. I like how you swap out the mop onc

I'm overwhelmed and need help finding the right unit
I have a j7+ (6 months downstairs $335 Black Friday or Total Tech deal at Best Buy) and a Combo j9+ (18 months upstairs $999). The combo mops and vacuums. j7 just vacuums. Both have the clean base which requires bags. The only issue I’ve had with the j7 is it sometimes gets lost. And the sensor some
