So I have a roomba j9+. It empties itself. It runs every day after I leave for work. It does an excellent job and I've had it for 3 years now. You will have to perform maintenance, i.e. cleaning the dustbin and its sensors, replacing rollers as they wear out, replacing the little spinny bit as it we

I've got a Roomba J9+ and a Braava jet mop. I love it but I have to run vacuum every day and make sure it's clean/maintened well.

I have had this happen twice now on my j9+ combo, both times it happened were after the warranty expired. Each time I just contacted iRobot through the chat and sent them picture and explained what was happening. They escalated it to their safety unit and then send me a new home base both times. The

We have hardwood floors and a corgi so I can definitely relate. We went with the Roomba j9+ and I've been really pleased. I run it once a week, and "tumblecorgs" are minimal. The ones I do find are usually in the places he can't get to - like under the couch or in a deep corner. Side note - my husba

The biggest time-savers are gadgets that automate recurring tasks. Robot vacuums like Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or iRobot Roomba Combo j9+ handle vacuuming, mopping, and self-emptying, so you barely touch them. Electric desks such as Uplift V2 Standing Desk help because preset heights make switching pos

Have 705 max combo. Love it. Set it up in the app, make sure your mapping run has zero obstacles, move furniture out of the way so it can map correctly, set up your automations to vacuum 3 days a week and mop 2 days a week in the middle of the night then LEAVE IT ALONE. Other than cleaning the robot

As an owner of both a J9+ Combo and Saros 10r, you’re not wrong. They should be ashamed of themselves for ever releasing the J9+ Combo and owe everyone who has it a replacement. It stopped me from ever buying an iRobot product again, and up until then I’ve purchased 7 for myself and probably 4 more

I have had both running in our home. I sold the J7+ as I had completed learning its nuances. I currently run the J9+ combo and Max 10. The J7+ and the Max 10 are both great machines. However, the Max10 has many extra bells, whistles, and options. This means for success, you will need to do some home

505 has different mop types and are a bit messier, you’ll have to clean the base more often. They also have an extended bit on top that the 705 does not. Unfortunately I cannot give more info on the 705 yet atm cause my J9+ Combo recently killed its own brush head tab/latch and I am now waiting on a

To be fair, the first vacuum was probably 15 years ago. The tech just wasn’t there. The second was an Eufy. It was a cheap pile of crap and the poor thing had no idea what it was in for. I currently have a Roomba J9+ I bought on sale over a year ago. It definitely is holding its own, but it has its
