Stuck On Deciding

I love love love my 10R — I’m from Roombaland also, having switched just a few weeks ago when my J9+ Combo suffered the dreaded warped-charging-contact issue only a few months out of warranty and Roomba offered me a measly $150- toward replacing it outright at current market pricing. I’m actually gl

20 Years with Roomba, bought my first Roborock

Huh — I’ve had the exact opposite experience and find my 10R does infinitely better than my last Roomba, the J9+ Combo — it never bangs into anything and avoids the errant stray dog toy that gets left somewhere random. I love it.

Robot vacuums vs chin poop

I have a Roomba j9+ dedicated for my chin room. Aside from being extremely stupid (Think Idiocracy - "Your floor is now clean!"), it does a pretty good job of picking up the chin poop. I have it run daily, and it picks up about 85% of all of the stuff (hay, poop, pellets, etc) on the floor. So, it'l

GET.THE.ROBOT.VACUUM.

I bought a J9+ Combo. Loved it so much that I bought a refurbished one off eBay directly from iRobot (a J7+) for my second story. Those little vacuums have been a literal lifesaver for me. I am grateful for them every day! Also, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about worrying about pet messes. Both

Roomba 105 combo

I would recommend a roomba model that detects stuff, from a J7, J7+ to a J9, J9+ (the do detect pet "presents"😅) not the J9+combo, (that units dock had plenty of failures) I would also go for a Plus 505 combo if you also want to mop the floor, because It has the laser view but also a front camera. Should I drop $1800 on a robot vacuum or go cheaper?

I’m not going to be the one to dissuade you from buying top tier because I don’t think it’s fair to make value judgments about someone I don’t know based on how they spend their money. You are allowed to make whatever consumer-related decisions you wish as it’s your business and no one else’s. I wan

What’s the most you’ve lost to a robot vacuum?

I’m being completely honest here — better everything. It’s built better, the app is better (though very different so there was a learning curve), it cleans and mops better due to the different technology Roborock uses, it’s massively quieter, it has yet to get stuck anywhere (I didn’t ever feel comf

Moms of toddlers, what do you think of robot vacuums?

So I love mine saves so Much time and effort. I just make sure kids mess is in 1 room or picked up at night into bins and then just run it. Technically the Roomba j9+ I have avoids items in the ground but still I prefer to clean up the floor before it goes off to vacuum and mop. I do still need to m
