Siberian sisters

So that’s why I woke up one morning with a bunch of tea light candles and salt on the floor… 😅 For my cleaning routine I have a Roomba j7+ that’s scheduled to run daily and a Dyson v12 that I use 2-3 times a week for all the corners and under furniture the Roomba didn’t get.

Roomba leaking sensitive pics of people in their homes.

This has missing context. This was when iRobot was doing beta testing with roomba j7, before it launched. They beta robots had a sticker on them saying that they are recording (for collecting data). iRobot wasn't the one who leaked these pictures, the company they work with did. I am not gonna blame...

Robot Vacuum

My Roomba J7+ is fine after 3 years... though you will need to manually remove all the hair stuck on the brushes like once per week, but I don't mind doing it...If you are willing to pay this much, the newer model has a mop integrated as well. Honestly, when I have it on schedule, it keeps the house...

Please say I don’t have to buy a new one.

Best part of iRobot is most of their components are replaceable and reasonably priced. I'm not positive this will fit your robot but they have these modules for most of their current line. https://www.irobot.com/en_US/roomba-cleaning-head-module-for-roomba-i3-and-j7-series/4706166.html I once had an...

I gladly threw out my Roomba. It was an interesting experiment but devolved into a PitA.

Loved my roomba so much I bought one for upstairs. Resisted getting the automatic emptying one for a while but OMG ...it's fantastic!!! My j7+ is great AND I got it on sale at Christmas. Don't understand why anyone wouldn't get one if they could afford it.

I GOT A ROOMBA J7+ !!

Not weird at all! I wanted a Roomba for Christmas as a kid as they were just so cool. Adult now and also have the J7. Enjoy it! You’ll probably be trying to keep it all clean and scratch free for a very long time like I did, but in the end I had to accept that it’s going to. Still love my Roomba eve...

iRobot going out of business? Which is another alternative ?

I just went with roborock coming from owning Roomba J7+ units and have been happy. Even if iRobot somehow escapes bankruptcy it just seems they are behind the competition.

Roborock's no longer my go-to brand.

5 years? Wow! I understand you’re annoyed about parts being no longer available but my Roomba J7+ broke down after 1,5 years and my Neato D4 broke down after two years.

Have you ever found these lying around?

I have a roomba which solved the issue. J7+ refurbished from Amazon for less than $200 dollars has stopped me from needing to swifter and manually vacuum daily.

Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum?

I have had several Roomba vacuums, and currently have a J7+ on main floor and an i4 in the basement. They really aren't great. Our J7 has been replaced by Roomba 2-3 times, which is great from a customer service aspect, but not great because it has needed to be replaced multiple times. In addition t...
