Drivers for INTEL DC3217IYE
Intel says it does https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/71275/intel-nuc-kit-dc3217iye/specifications.html I mean for 20 bucks it's worth just trying and then using the auto intel-driver-installer utility to see what it finds. It probably just uses the generic legacy Intel HD driver pa

Planning to get a NUC8i7HVK (hades canyon); is it still worth today compared to other mini pc with Ryzen APU in the same 400-800 dollars range?
I've got one. It has better drivers on Linux. The windows one, due to the hybrid amd/Intel apu became unsupported in about 2022. I was dual booting up until a few months ago when I bought a Legion laptop. I'll be installing Ubuntu server on the hades-canyon to use as my server, the apu will be pheno

AMD and Intel Just Teamed Up To DESTROY EVERYONE!
Everyone always forgets about the Intel and AMD collab for the Hades Canyon NUC. That was a cool computer with an awesome skull logo

Intel Responds To Questions On Future Of Arc Graphics Following NVIDIA Collaboration Announcement
Ah man, if only Intel hadn't sold its NUC division to Asus. With the chip they're making with Nvidia we could've finally had a TRUE successor to the Hades Canyon NUC.

NUC5CPYH, troubles, and I feel like a newb.
I've got one of these, currently running HAOS (Home Assistant OS, a customised Linux server). It's fine for that purpose but it's a very slow machine for any kind of desktop OS. Windows 10 was very slow on it and the integrated graphics weren't powerful enough for 1080p streaming. Even Linux desktop

The journey ends here?
Intel had Hades Canyon 7 years ago, don't see what's so different here

Bad year for Synology users
While all my media files are on my Synology NAS, I have a Hades Canyon Intel NUC running Windows 10 for Plex. The NUC and NAS are both connected to the same router via Ethernet. The NUC is silent and it's been quite reliable. The only outages I have are when Plex freezes remote connections to force

$350 or less, don't overspend on something so old. Especially since the driver situation is iffy. But yes, typically any mini PC with a Strix Point APU that has a Radeon 890M should outperform the HVK in gaming by a bit. Intel's new Panther Lake chips are apparently even better. If you have any work

Are Teams Rooms on Windows + Logitech equipment 100% reliable for anyone?
We have MTRs with Logitech + IntelNUC kits. Using them for years. Rock solid devices, I’d have no hesitation recommending them to someone. Out of the hundreds we’ve deployed, we’ve maybe lost a couple full kits due to hardware faults? (Eg a couple of bars dying, a couple of the touch controllers). W
