Help me choose a desk chair

I woiuld advise against an Ikea desk chair. I've had the 1st and 3rd one. The Markus (1st) is decent, but very one size fits all and I didn't use it for long enough to see how it holds up after a year. The 3rd one was really great at first, but wore out very quickly and ended up making my body feel

Do you adjust the Lumbar support from time to time or just set it up once?

I'm 185 cm tall and weigh 110 kg. I switched from Ikea Markus. The big problem for me is, the lumbar protrudes much more strongly, the more I recline in the chair. So if I sit upright, I have to protrude it 1/3rd of the way up to not sit like a shrimp. But when I want to recline, it suddenly pierces

Does expansive makes it better? (Gaming chair)

agree and disagree, though I agree with the gaming chair and desk are a scam I also think spending more on a good office chair is better than getting something like the Markus or Matchspel from IKEA, chairs like the leap v2 or aeron etc (yes it's quite a lot more expensive) but if you're gonna be sp

My productivity setup

Looks clean! Please get a better chair tho. Going from the IKEA Markus to a Herman Miller was life changing and worth every penny.

Chairs for building

I build at my computer desk, so an office chair. I actually just bought a new ergonomic chair, a Flexispot ErgoX. Pretty good, with lumbar support that borders almost on the too aggressive side. But it's miles better than my Ikea Markus chair.

What is the best office chair for wfh?

Don't go for one that looks super padded that you can sink into. In my experience, the padding doesn't last and then they become very uncomfortable. I have an operator chair that cost over 200 quid and while it doesn't look the comfiest, it still feels as firm as it did a few years ago and it forces

Gaming chair replacement

Also check out J&K Hopkins - Office Furniture in Osborne Park. I grabbed a Diablo Manager (~$350) chair there a few years ago to replace an Ikea Markus. It's miles better, built like a tank, far better to sit in for long periods of time (and the Markus was often recommended around places like Reddit

Ich bins, der monatliche User der nach Stühlen fragt (Backforce V Plus)

I currently have an Ikea Markus, been using it about 10 years. I don't like the armrests, they dig into my legs and also I have to remove them to be able to play guitar. I'm now saving up for the Backforce One Plus. It's the only premium chair I've found with flip down armrests. Unfortunately I can'

Anyone can recommend a comfortable chair for a +80kg dude?

At this point can get the Ikea Markus chair la if it's available near you. Can try first also. I personally don't like it (I am short and I don't like headrests) but a lot of people like it. Slightly over your budget though
