Studio Monitor Suggestions?
iLoud MTM MKIIs for a medium sized room, or the iLoud Micro Monitor Pros for a smaller room. I started with the Micro Monitors, and upgraded to the MTMs last year because of GAS, but I don’t regret it. They sound great out of the box, and can be further calibrated to your room using the included ARC

Monitor Help..
Look at IK Multimedia's iLoud series. Highly underrated. These are their MTM MKIIs, but their micro monitor pros are excellent too: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloudmtm/?pkey=iloud-mtm-mk2-black-pair

Recommendations on portable monitors.
ILoud MTM are fantastic. Not the basic iLouds, but the MTM, either version. Insanely detailed and clear, shocking amount of clean bass and volume for the size. And they have a built in calibration system to tune to whatever room youre in

Computerphile explaining DSP, cool but what are those speakers?
Maybe the iLoud MTM in white. Only good MTM that comes to mind at a desktop form factor. They measure great for their size, but are pretty expensive.

IK Multimedia has pulled Mixbox from the App Store
Mixbox is very good. And the iLoud MTM are one of the best nearfield monitors for small poorly treated rooms. Tone X is great too, best free amp sims on iOS. But the company is an asshole for abandoning Mixbox and all their older apps.

VSX vs. high-end open backs (max 1000 euro): How do you build a reliable reference in a terrible room?
Even after going through Neumann NDH-30 open backs with Neumann RIME software, I just gave up on trying to mix with headphones. I use the iLoud MTM MKii comes with a measuring mic and ARC X software, I feel like my mixes are finally translating everywhere after so long, it really removes that cloud

Help choosing studio monitors for a small bedroom - Genelec 8020 vs ADAM A4V (or other options)
Look at the iLoud MTM mkII, it’s a surprisingly good speaker.

Speaker Question / Looking for Sound Quality
For overall good quality of sound, you can't beat a pair of Sony 7506 headphones. They're $100 and they'll give him good frequency response across the spectrum. They'll have far better bass than any (non-sub) ported monitor speaker (Ports tend to make bass muddy). Or a set of good in ear monitors (e

Monitor Speakers for Synth rig - Adam T7v?
Another speaker to potentially consider is the ILoud MTM. It has built in room correction and works down to 40 hz. Probably not as loud as the 7s if you’re going for volume, but probably more detailed.

D3V muffled low volume software issue - The company does not plan to fix it...
Thank you for posting this. I won't be buying the D3Vs then. I currently have the 1st gen iLoud MTM on my desktop and while they sound fantastic, they are dying and I need a replacement. I'm often listening to music at barely audiable, whisper low volume, late at night when someone is sleeping in th
