The Genelec 8010 is a pretty thin sounding monitor. Even with room correction bumping up the low end I don’t quite think they’ll be super pleasing without significant support from a sub. I started with the Micro Monitors, and upgraded to the MTMs last year because of GAS, but I don’t regret it. Maybe the iLoud MTM in white. Only good MTM that comes to mind at a desktop form factor. They measure great for their size, but are pretty expensive.

Honestly for that room size + without acoustic treatment, i'd go for IK multimedia iLoud MTM mkii. Includes their arc mic and arc X software for acoustic self calibration. Mixbox is very good. And the iLoud MTM are one of the best nearfield monitors for small poorly treated rooms. Tone X is great too, best free amp sims on iOS. But the company is an asshole for abandoning Mixbox and all their older apps.

Even after going through Neumann NDH-30 open backs with Neumann RIME software, I just gave up on trying to mix with headphones. I use the iLoud MTM MKii comes with a measuring mic and ARC X software, I feel like my mixes are finally translating everywhere after so long, it really removes that cloud
