Headphone mixing versus room calibration/monitor mixing
Monitors and human hearing are a very subjective thing. I’ve mixed quality work in bad rooms and I’ve struggled with the low end in perfectly treated rooms. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but I’m very impressed with the first gen iLoud micros. To me they’re the new NS10s. They’re ultra

Studio Monitor Suggestions?
iLoud MTM MKIIs for a medium sized room, or the iLoud Micro Monitor Pros for a smaller room. I started with the Micro Monitors, and upgraded to the MTMs last year because of GAS, but I don’t regret it. They sound great out of the box, and can be further calibrated to your room using the included ARC

Budget Studio Monitor/Speaker Suggestion for Guitar
Bumili ako Presonus Eris 3.5 early 2020. 10k yung binili ko pero mga 6k-ish nalang ata now. First time ko mag studio monitors, and kasabay rin ng purchase ko ng interface+mic recording bundle. Coming from computer speakers (Altec Lansing), I guess malaking upgrade siya for music production. Nakakapa

Home studio monitors (budget)
If you monitor too loud you will create standing waves in your room which mask frequencies and you won’t be able to properly judge your mixes. Check out the iloud micro or KRK create or Kali Lp

A pair of Technics SL-1200MK3D & DJM-250MK2 in home setup with Edifier MR4 speakers
Thanks! I tried to put them higher, next to my ears, when standing. MR4 sound surprisingly good for the price. They're not as balanced as iLoud Micro Monitor which I own too, but their sound is more punchy which I like more for genres like trance.

Advice on this weird obsession with mixing
You could pretend this is the exact unpolished indie sound you were after, it doesn't sound bad. But I can see why you want to improve the situation. The lack of good monitoring causes the exact problem you describe, there's no other way around. It can sound ok-ish after some iterations and tweaks b

Stereo portable speaker suggestions?
I have a pair of iLoud Micro Monitors - rugged, amazing sound and totally portable - a bit more than you want to spend new, but they often come up used in local marketplaces, keep your eyes open.

External Speakers (wired)
if you had more money for speakers, I'd recommend iLoud Micro Monitor. Best for its size and money.

Drop ur sounds settings Bois n gurls
Its an amazing tool, I want to get a few different amps and make new profiles for them as well. For measuring I really want to get a pair of iLoud Micro Monitor Pro, they come with a measuring mic and software to calibrate it. Only thing is they cost $700... Maybe someday.
