Monitors and human hearing are a very subjective thing. I’ve mixed quality work in bad rooms and I’ve struggled with the low end in perfectly treated rooms. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but I’m very impressed with the first gen iLoud micros. To me they’re the new NS10s. They’re ultra

I wouldn’t travel with them. The IK Multimedia iLoud Micro would probably be ideal for your use case

Presonus eris 3.5 is a great entry speaker. If you wanna go fancy iloud micro’s or high end genelec (8010 or something - the smallest gray ones are amazing. But beware these are music production speakers not party speakers. They’d get loud but party speakers are build different than monitor speakers

Oh, somebody else made that recommendation. I recommended the Tribit and let you know about latency and auxiliary connections with portable Bluetooth speakers. Just jumping in to try to help here too 🙂 I do have the iLoud Micro Monitor MK1s. They have noticeably better sound quality than Tribit or M

Pensa prima all'impianto audio, non al giradischi. Se vuoi delle casse buone da scrivania lascia stare le BX5 e prendi delle iLoud Micro Monitor.

If you monitor too loud you will create standing waves in your room which mask frequencies and you won’t be able to properly judge your mixes. Check out the iloud micro or KRK create or Kali Lp

Portability is cool but doesn’t have to be battery powered. Would like stereo for the panning effects 😂 In that case, how about the iLoud Micro Monitors. They are excellent little monitors for music production. As long as you understand small speakers like this aren't going to be generating a lot of

OB4 definitely for your desk. It sounds great. Minirig to go. Another good alternative for the desk is the iLoud micro set. Costs about 300-350 range and they sound great and loud. Comparable to the OB4 or cheaper. I have all of them and really like them as much as the OB4 https://www.amazon.com/s?k
