Are there any ergonomic chairs that actually recline far for after hours?

It’s a center of gravity issue. When you lean all the way back, your center of gravity moves back also. Too far and base will not support you, and you’ll bend the cylinder. To support this you would need a huge base, which would make the chair unusable. This is why there are no lie-flat office chair

Has anyone tried the Humanscale Path?

Not sure why a year old post is hitting my feed...but I LOVE the Path chair!! I mean...I think it is quite a feat to claim being the most sustainable/environmentally concious task chair in the market...even a few years after launch. I'm not sure how anyone will come close to what Humanscale has done

Ergohuman Ultra Mesh V2 - A waste of time and money

i have the chair for over a month, and while it has its issues, the above review was clearly written by someone who does not know how to sit on a chair. the backtilt is supposed to be left unlocked and you are to adjust the tension with the knob. yes, the knob requires a lot of turns to have any eff

Best office chair for lounging/gaming

The Humanscale Freedom is great for chilling, especially with the recline. The steelcase Amia is nice too, but it feels more like an office chair. If you’re looking for something more gaming-focused, the Zody isn’t as soft as you might want. You should check out ergonomicchairfinder to compare these

Is my Aeron B too small for me?

One important note on Leap v2 recline: it is different than every other chair on the angle. When reclining, the Leap v2 will slide the seat FORWARD (instead of slightly upwards), which some people say is better for gaming/computing as it keeps your legs under the desk and the armrests straight with

SteelCase Leap V2 the chair for mostly "chilling"?

i am in the same situation as you. I am in fact trying to decide between the leap v2 and the Humanscale Freedom that comes with a headrest. If i could get a thicker cushion Leap v2 like the refurbed ones the sell in the US i wouldn't hesitate and then add the Atlas Headrest (bloody pricey for Austra

Office Chair that is easily available in Europe (Scandinavia to be precise), actually is a bang for the buck and most importantly, is great for long periods of work and entertainment. So, a very general purpose chair.

Kinnarps is a good company...and local...one of my best friends is an executive there! 😇 I prefer Humanscale though...and they do have representation in Sweden. They are at the Stockholm furniture fair every year. Humanscale Freedom Headrest would be my choice, but that is their highest end chair. A

Looking to upgrade to a chair with a headrest for sure.

Headrest? It begins and ends with Humanscale Freedom. The original headrest chair and still one of the only ones with a synchronous headrest that actually adjusts with you as you lean back in the chair. No tilt lock though as none is needed with their chairs. The original gravity mechanism they came

humanscale diffrient chair reclines a bit too easily - this normal?

If you are someone who likes to sit upright and have your chair locked that way humanscale as a whole is not what I would have picked for you. Obviously the seat depth mechanism being broken is not ideal. However, I know that on the humanscale freedom and the humanscale liberty there is a “secret“ t

Are the BTOD folks biased towards Steelcase?

Well...I "work" in the industry and actually know exactly how many chairs Steelcase sells...by model... ;). (as well as all Miller & Knoll chairs...Haworth, not so much...Humanscale, not so much but their percent market share is WAY up in seating compared to the major OEMs) You would be QUITE surpri
