Set a pomodoro timer where you work for 25 minutes and take a 5 minute break. forces you to get out of the chair. Also the chair could be the issue. It's quite expensive but I've been sitting in the humanscale freedom task chair for 5 years now, sometimes with 10 hour stretches and my back has been fine, the chair before that I was sore all the time. I found mine at a used office furniture store so paid less than 50% of what it is new. Probably

I just use monitoring. Shortly after I got my house I installed an Emporia monitor in the breaker panel. I also have monitoring connected to my tankless boiler, and automated lighting. Water monitoring and automatic shutoff is coming next. If any of my bills seem out of whack, I compare to the data

I have a refurbished Humanscale Freedom, which is great if you're on the smaller side. I got it from Office Resale. My issue with a lot of chairs is that the distance between my knees and hips is shorter than the depth of the seat so I can't have my back against the backrest and my feet on the floor

Congrats guys! I am currently use a herman miller aeron and a humanscale freedom with headrest. If any of you have these chairs please write up a comparison. I am looking to replace these chairs and need something more comfortable for long sitting hours. Thank you!

I got the Humanscale Freedom and love it. It has a super wide seat so I can sit cross-legged, a lot of depth so I can sit with my knees up comfortably, the seat and backrest are super comfy, the backrest reclines, and the arm rests go all the way down to seat level for when I need more elbow room.
