I Tested the Acer Swift 14 AI and Found This Copilot Plus PC Is Missing One Key Feature
The article reviews the Acer Swift 14 AI, a Copilot Plus PC with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X series CPU, highlighting its impressive battery life (over 24 hours) and sturdy build, but criticizing its high price of $1,200 for the features it offers. It notes that the laptop's basic IPS display is a drawb

Is this laptop good value for money?
kinda hard to say without seeing the cpu and ram - 88k inr is around $1050 usd, which can get you solid hardware. for basic coding and light gaming, look for ryzen 5 7530u or better, 16gb ram, and at least 300 nits. battery life on amd u-series is usually great. honestly for that budget the hp pavil

Bought a Pavilion, didn't get a Pavilion...problem?
Dang that's more than $100 more than what I spent on my certified refurb on ebay. I got a hp pavilion plus 14 with 120hz OLED 2880x1800 Intel core ultra 7 155h 32gb ram 1tb ssd. It was like new not a scratch or scuff anywhere on it however the seller does have 99.9% feedback. I would return that one

Any idea whats causing OLED display issue
Display on my HP Pavilion Plus 14 OLED 7840u started flickering. Similar issue occurred a couple of months ago but then it got resolved itself. Any idea what might be causing this, is the display damaged or something related to a loose connection

Ryzen 7 7735HS: Good for 4k editing and 3D/Voxel rendering?
I have the Ryzen 7 7840u and from experience I can say that you can do almost anything with that CPU + iGPU combo. I've mainly used it to edit 24MP RAW photos on Lightroom classic and Photoshop and it works great. However, keep your expectations low. There are some features that sometimes don't work

Buying a used laptop - with warranty vs without but higher spec?
With warranty, I've found a Acer Swift Go 16 and HP Pavilion Plus 14. Without, there's a Asus Vivobook and Lenovo IdeaPad 5, both with RTX 3050. Looking online, they all seem to be in the same range of quality. I do prefer battery life + warranty over graphics atm but I don't want to discount gaming

Driving Myself Crazy: Used EliteBook G11 (Ultra 7/32GB DDR5/No Warranty) vs. New Pavilion Plus 14 (Ultra 5 H/16GB/OLED/Warranty)?
Neither is particularly geared for video production work, but both could probably hack it in a pinch (Hell my 6 year old ZBook X2 G4 can handle simple 4K phone footage). The EliteBook is definitely going to be the one more likely to remain problem free/all around more reliable, but again, no warrant
