I have the Ryzen 7 7840u and from experience I can say that you can do almost anything with that CPU + iGPU combo. I've mainly used it to edit 24MP RAW photos on Lightroom classic and Photoshop and it works great. However, keep your expectations low. There are some features that sometimes don't work

That has similar hardware to what you'd find in a gaming handheld like the rog ally or legion go, meaning even in uni you're good to play some lighter games. For school specifically, it will get the job done. Battery life on that chip can be exceptional, but you may have to tune the power settings.
