does such a thing as mx internals for an hhkb case?
Just get an HHKB studio, it's basically an HHKB but with hotswap MX switches and a trackpoint.

Font comparison
The studio is a weird duck. Though not Topre, the switches/caps feel quite nice and silent. The track-point works very well. As well as IBM/Lenovo I would say, not the crap Dell fed users. I would recommend it on a good sale. $400 is getting into Mode Tempo territory (or two HHKB pro territory).

Is the HHKB studio worth it?
Overall, I love mine. I recognize, though, that this purely boils down to the integrated pointer. Throughout my day, I am constantly using it alongside a traditional mouse. I've used ThinkPad keyboards for years, and when it came time to upgrade, the studio was the most premium option that didn't sa

Studio thoughts from a Topre diehard - it's amazing
Glad you're enjoying it! However, I have to disagree about the switches: they are truly terrible and feel nothing like Topre. Linear? Gross! I was thinking about returning mine, but then I tried it with TTC Bluish White Silent Tactile V2 42g switches and, boy, what a difference they made! If I didn'

HHKB Studio vs Type-s
Trying to decide which keyboard I should keep. Wait, so you have both? If you own both, you already know what the typing feel is. What kind of experience are you looking for? I am someone who owns both (and many other HHKBs). They both have thier place, and will be completely dependent on your needs

I bought an HHKB Studio… and I really like it
I like mine, I'm a Thinkpad guy and this keyboard helps me retain some of the Thinkpad ergonomics. I hate the charcoal print on the black keys, I replaced my keycaps with white keys + black print. The linear switches are OK, not my favorite, I wish they were more clicky, but not many choices out the

which hhkb do i buy (budget 120+shipping to india)
So basically you are looking at a Tex Shura or Shinobi? The only common thread with those and an HHKB is the Studio version with trackpoint input. The Studio, though made by HHKB is basically just an MX HHKB layout with added inputs. I don't think most would know how to direct you here. This sub dea

More HHKBs and balls.
Neat! Is that a Ploopy Adept? My HHKB Studio just arrived. I replaced the abomination that is the default linear switches with Kailh Box Whites, and now I am liking it quite a lot. The pointing stick is especially well-executed. Bravo! The only thing it's missing (aside from proper Topre switches) i

Is the HHKB studio worth it?
No I never use it. I also now use Q60max (hhkb mechanical switch layout from keychron) I thought studio would be perfect for me and my use case. I have 3 computers in the room and switch from them often so a baked in Bluetooth switcher and a mouse would be perfect. I didn't like the case, the height

Is the HHKB studio worth it?
I think it strongly depends on your personal usecase. I really love my HHKB Studio but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're just chasing to try some MX switches and don't care about the other features at all, then I would go for another board. Not because the Studio is bad, but there are jus
