HHKB Studio vs Type-s
They are two completely different boards, the HHKB Studio is MX Switches and the Type-S is dome switches. The Studio is basically like any other MX keyboard on the market with some variations. If you want the real HHKB feel you would get the Type-S.

Is there a perfect HHKB?
The Topre HHKB Studio is the real endgame, lol. I felt the same at first, but once you give it enough time, it just clicks. No surprise it’s the endgame for a lot of MX users. Enjoy typing haha

Plz HHKB STUDIO TOPRE ver
Is anyone else waiting like me? I think most/everyone here would love to see it, but the reality is that we probably won't. A Topre version would be dependent on Topre to develop (this is probably one of the main reasons why it is MX; besides trying to tap into the MX market, it is something PFU cou

Font comparison
The studio is a weird duck. Though not Topre, the switches/caps feel quite nice and silent. The track-point works very well. As well as IBM/Lenovo I would say, not the crap Dell fed users. I would recommend it on a good sale. $400 is getting into Mode Tempo territory (or two HHKB pro territory).

Thoughts on HHKB Studio
I didn't think I'd like it and i have a pretty solid customized Classic. My Studio is my daily driver, it feels great. Keyreative sells a few options specifically for the studio: https://keyreative.store/collections/hhkb-keycaps including the GHB cluster (separate) If you haven't noticed already - t

Studio arrived
the studio is pretty awesome in general though if you try to hold it up against a topre HHKB, it's apples to oranges the linear switches are surprisingly pretty damn good, it took me a while to find something tactile that feels and sounds a little better than the stock linears

Plz HHKB STUDIO TOPRE ver
I second the idea that the studio does feel very good and when I go back and forth between my Topre HHKB and my Studio, I’m happy with both. The studio isn’t identical but it is excellent. I speculate that lubing the sliders would raise it up another notch.

First time buyer (Pro Hybrid Type-S vs Studio)
but I liked the Studio's features If you think you can use the Studio's features to their fullest, then I think there is nothing wrong with a Studio as a first HHKB. If you think they're features that are just nice to have but you don't think you'll actually use them, go for a Pro. They're both soli

Is the HHKB studio worth it?
I think it strongly depends on your personal usecase. I really love my HHKB Studio but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're just chasing to try some MX switches and don't care about the other features at all, then I would go for another board. Not because the Studio is bad, but there are jus

Studio thoughts from a Topre diehard - it's amazing
i had a similar experience with the studio. it's an excellent feeling keyboard. I'm obsessed with Topre and almost felt guilty how much i liked the feel of the studio. Unfortunately, the studio didn't feel as refined as a normal hhkb. The materials were fine, but it just felt a little over-the-top f
