Herman Miller and Steelcase are two companies that make chairs that are actually worth the cost to re-upholster, especially if it's only the seat. I'm happy that my Herman Miller Cosm is entirely mesh, like the Aeron.

Looking for the Best Office Chair for Lower Back Pain Mainly
It absolutely is not the only answer. The Aeron is very nice, but they aren't for everyone and they aren't the only brand/line worth looking at.
