That’s a good point. At 6’2, 235 lbs, I’ve been able to get enough resistance from the tilt tension mechanism on all of the contemporary Herman Miller and Steelcase chairs I’ve used. Not so much on the Haworth Zody though, so having tilt limit on that chair is a big deal for me.

No regrets on my Aeron remastered which i got last year. It was my dream since 10 years ago. Went through my recommended chairs (Leap v2, Haworth Zody) but the aeron just works for me. What do you clean your embody with? Just cloth and water or with light soap?

$400 for a used Haworth Zody feels awfully expensive to me. Now it definitely depends on your market but in my opinion even in a tight market $250-300 would be a much better price. If you decide to go for it really try and get that price down. I honestly don't think you should pay over $300.

I’d see if you can get them to come down in price imo the Zody 1 is an ok chair but no where the best Haworth offers. Now if you can find a Zody II or Zody LX that is a different story

I just got rid of a Haworth Zody in place of a HM Celle...best most. I love it. The firmness, the stiffness of the back, the height...massive upgrade for me as compared to the Zody.

Whichever one fits you best. For my specific body, the Ikea Markus beat all other contenders. I went to multiple office liquidation sales that had Herman Miller Sayl chairs, Steelcase Gesture chairs, and Haworth Zodys. Nothing compared to the cheap and reliable Ikea Markus.
