+1 for ergonomic chairs- much better than the gaming ones. Don’t cheap out on this, as you are likely spending 8+ hours on this for 5 days a week. HM Aeron or Embody, Steelcase Leap V2 or Amia, or Haworth Zody or Fern.

What you're describing sounds normal for this kind of chair. You'd even get it with the Embody, although... Different samples will of course... different. Unless it's concerning sounding, like there's damage happening, then it's likely just standard. Even my Haworth Zody did that after about 3 weeks
