Suggest a chair pls.
I don't find gaming chairs to be as uncomfortable as other folks do, but a decent office chair will definitely be better for your back/body in the long run. Chairs are hard because you can't really know what works for you until you sit in one. If you have a local store or furniture gallery with offi

Haworth Soji or Branch Ergonomic with headrest
I ended up going with the Haworth Soji, and I'm quite happy with the decision 2.5 years in. I picked it up for 590 Canadian or 430 usd at the time. Turns out someone in my household bought a branch chair before I bought my soji, so I had a good idea of what it felt like. The biggest problem for me w

What is the benefit of a forward tilting seat?
This is the way. I like to fully unlock the Aeron tilt limiter and activate forward tilt. I can then use the chair in an “active sitting” method where I’m not fully forward, but instead am floating upright, making micro adjustments as I work, with proper back support the whole time. I have an origin

Joshua's Office Chairs Manifesto and The Mega Chair Thread #4
I need a chair for under $800. I’m 5’11”, but still growing. I bought a Haworth soji, but I don’t like how uncomfortable it is. I don’t like how the backrest mesh is rough and also I don’t like the angle it is at, while not being able to lock it at an angle. Overall I am not too happy with it and I’

Chair Recommendations for 6'1 265lbs/120kg
Been struggling in the same way as we are almost the same size. It certainly doesn’t feel like many ergo chairs were built for us. My work chair at the office is a nightingale cxo which I would absolutely recommend if your budget was unlimited. But I don’t have 2k to drop on a home chair. I feel lik

Lads... Am I mad?
I bought a Haworth Soji chair “second hand” from donedeal and it’s made a huge difference. I use it for work and gaming and I never feel uncomfortable or have any back issues even sitting for 10 hrs a day. On the other hand 30mins on the couch with PS5 and I’m ready for the physio!

Looking for a chair that is tilted forward, for drawing
I would caution against a forward tilting seat where the backrest doesn’t come forward to match. You’ll end up hunched over instead of receiving proper back support. Some of Haworth’s chairs (Fern and Soji, but not Zody) are like that, as are a ton of mid-grade stool chairs. The Herman Miller Aeron

Too many chair brands... which one should I choose?
Tough. It’s very subjective on your body type and what you find as comfortable. What are you looking for? How much can you spend? Some chairs I have been in around my office experiences Steel case chairs -Series 1 is okay but I hate the lumbar in it. Just a plastic board in your back, the air versio
