Calling all Programmers/Operators: What's your favorite desk chair?

I tour a H&M Aeron despite the 4 figure price tag because ruining my back is simply not in the best interests of me or any tour. A Hag Capisco is actually a really good tour chair. It's a nice height for operating and promotes good posture even when you're knackered

The HAG Capisco is pretty great, but expensive.

Need recommendations for budget Amazon mesh chairs

To answer your specific questions honestly: Seat cushion - yes, most budget foam flattens within 3 to 6 months under daily 8hr+ use. Look for chairs specifying high density foam. Squeaking - almost universal after 4-6 months. Recommendation - none of the four you've listed have enough long-term user

My tailbone hurts

Hag Capisco. Best chair for long hours, keeps your back straight and keeps pressure off your behind. Also, standing desk

1st wfh job GIFT for my wife

If OP lives in a medium-sized or bigger city, I bet there are some good office chairs on Facebook marketplace. Seems like everyone in my city is going back to office and selling their gently used Steelcase / Haworth/ HM/ etc chairs. I got a pristine Hag Capisco for 200 the other day!

💡 Looking for advice: a comfortable and reliable desk for my younger brother who’s a programmer (budget under €1000)

An Ikea adjustable height desk (electric or manual) will also do. Does the same thing as more expensive brands, 1 year changes or refunds no questions asked. By getting the Ikea desk you can then spend more in the chair. HAG Capisco has been working great for me for more than 8 years, solid quality

To WFH-ers, what is the best office chair for long hours (7+ hours/a day)?

Not cheap ($1000+), but I'd take my Hag Capisco over every Herman Miller chair I've had at work.

My desk setup gets uglier week after week…

HAG Capisco is a great chair, but few people can afford it. As for the armrests - never put them too high. They should be as low as possible, close to the point where your arms hang freely. The desk needs to be adjusted to the height where your forearms are horizontal. I have long hands too and my d
