For those not interested in a wall of text. TL;DR:After years of unreliable performance with smart home devices—including disconnecting speaker groups, Nest cameras dropping, and general network instability—you replaced your Nighthawk + extender setup with Nest WiFi Pro, only for it to get even wors

I have it. Speeds are great. Seamless roaming does not work as well as the Google Nest WiFi 5 system it replaces however.

Are any of your 45 connected devices near one of your pods so that you might connect them by ethernet? I recommend sorting that out (and buying some cheap unmanaged switches if you need multiple devices to be fed by a single pod) and then re-testing your phone's download speed. If you can get everyt

That would be a really useful feature. Google says you can't without 3rd party support. To view the data usage of Chromecast or Nest devices when they are not connected to a Google Wifi or Nest Wifi network, you'll generally need to utilize features available through your third-party wireless router

I have also use Verizon 5G Home WiFi and lost internet connectivity for my pods and nest speakers about a week or so ago and have been banging my head for hours and days trying to solve this. Yes, always keep the same name and password for easier reconnect. Also, Google wifi pro is hot trash. I sent mine back 2x now due to constant lagging, things disconnecting, 1 million internet resets ajd factory resets. On paper it is solid, in the real world it is simply not a good a system. I just

I haven't ever needed to use a travel router as a WiFi Client, but I know they are typically configurable that way. I see TP Link has a few to choose from. Just make sure you get a well known brand and that it supports "Client" mode. They often support a bunch of modes, including range extender (you

I don't know why availability would be an issue. All the items are in stock. This is what you would need for a "complete" setup. https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/ux7 -- That's your main unit. They are just as plug-and-play as most consumer routers these days. https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/a

Just replaced my 2g Google WIFI Ntwk with 3g Google Nest wifi Pro. I went from 5 points to 4 points including the router. I moved to a bigger house and the old system was dropping offline and was not streaming well at the far end of the house away from the modem. I am on comcast and 800-900mg at the
