Buying new keyboard
GMMK Pro is shit in 2026 even though it was one of the best back in 2022. Look at Evo75 if you’re looking into that sort of budget.

It's late, here is my old GMMK Pro
I'm assuming this was shot when it was new, because a work board that's this old with ABS caps wouldn't look like that LOL. Black ABS caps would be shined very nicely by now... even PBT ones would. I've still got my GMMK Pro. It's in my office performing work duties. Like you, I was fooled into buyi

A $2.40 keyboard
I have the redragon davarjas. It was my first mechanical keyboard. Ive had a few fairly nice and not nice (looking at you GMMK Pro) since but recently i took it to work again cause i needed a board and was frustrated with the membrane board they gave me. I remembered how pretty damn solid it was and

Glorious GMMK 2 full size barebone
Not a very good buy at all, what's your budget? GMMK materials are not very well produced and the stabilizers suck, plus the firmware is pretty unreliable compared to qmk/via

Help me choose between 2 Keychron boards
On the surface they're very similar boards with similar feature sets, and at similar price points. The main difference is the design and construction - the V6 is 'gasket mount', the switches are on a (very nice quality!) custom circuit board, which is mounted between foam gaskets in the plastic case

These cheap keycaps from Amazon are actually great!
$50? I wish. I bought my GMMK2 years ago when it was brand new. It was about $120. It's still a great keyboard, and it has served me well. I put lubed Glorious Fox switches in it. I built my husband a GMMK Pro around the same time and used the Gateron Blue switches. He likes the clicky switches. 🤮

Keychron MOA style caps?
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I couldn't find a single set of MT3 caps in my budget or any regular black or black and white MDA/ISA caps, I'm going to try these XDA caps for now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTJGHC9W?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Plus the spare Akko Rosewood switches, PE a

Are there any Split keyboards with the F row? I use the Logitech ERGO K860 at work, and it has helped so much that my wrist pain is completely gone. I think the split layout with the tenting is really the combo for me. At home, I have a GMMK Pro that I was able to snag for $80 during a black friday

Help me pick my next keyboard, please. I've had a GMMK Pro for that last few years and I've mostly loved it, but I've had a few issues with it in the last several months and now I want to upgrade. I've been away from the niche for awhile now and don't really know where to begin so I'm asking the com

Buying new keyboard
those are solid starter choices honestly. the gmmk pro is a great first build board, and gateron milky pros are smooth after lubing. i'd maybe look at Akko Black and Pink keycaps instead of xda if you want more texture - xda can feel a bit flat for gaming. also grab some Krytox 205g0 lube for the sw
