Keyboard upgrade

For me this keyboard was an upgrade, Glorious GMMK 2 Full- Size Fox Switch US-allocation Black GLO-GMMK2-96-FOX-B Very satisfied, could also install different firmware and works perfectly fine with (qmk+via). I came from razer blackwidow v3.

Which one

The Halo75 V2 is actually pretty solid choice despite the lego comment lol - that design grows on you and the sound profile is really nice For that budget range you might also want to check the GMMK 2 75%, heard good things about their software and build quality. Just make sure whatever you pick has

Glorious GMMK 2 full size barebone

Not a very good buy at all, what's your budget? GMMK materials are not very well produced and the stabilizers suck, plus the firmware is pretty unreliable compared to qmk/via

I'm new, why does GMMK get so much hate?

'Better' is really subjective. The GMMK 2 has a compacted layout with a shortened zero on the numpad and no navigation keys beyond the cursors. That might be a deal-breaker for some. The GMMK 3 has a more conventional layout with the addition of a knob. You can get an HE variant of the GMMK 3 too, w

Buying new keyboard

GMMK is kind of overpriced and mediocre, not even QMK (by default, there is third party QMK firmware for some models but dang). 75% with knob: Monsgeek M1 v5 * ($80 barebones) Akko 5075B VIA * ($60 barebones) Royal Kludge RK R75 QMK/VIA * ($51 with coupon) Womier Q75 ($59) Womier Era75 ($63) Yunzii AL

Help me choose between 2 Keychron boards

On the surface they're very similar boards with similar feature sets, and at similar price points. The main difference is the design and construction - the V6 is 'gasket mount', the switches are on a (very nice quality!) custom circuit board, which is mounted between foam gaskets in the plastic case

GMMK 2 on Mac help

Hey there, Thanks for giving the GMMK 2 a try! :) That is correct, our MacOS version of CORE is currently quite buggy - there are plans to release important updates down the line, but there are currently no ETAs. Fortunately, the GMMK 2 has onboard memory, which means that you can download Legacy CO

Which one would you pick?

It is not clear from their website but they do have mention on their support page that they provide VIA JSON files for at least some of the Furycube boards. GMMK boards are not QMK based at all. So I would out of those two get the Furycube, but only if there is an option for returning it for free if

Glorious Core 2 = Trash BS

You can revert, yes. What I did: Open the official guide. Download the appropriate .bin from the linked user's mega account. In my case I got the 96% ANSI layout version of the GMMK2 so I grabbed snap tap (newer) / gmmk2p96 / gmmk_gmmk2_p96_ansi_via 4ms.bin (note that if you have the ISO layout then you
