Another annoying thing with the gmktec k12, is that when disabling the bios fan settings, ie default values, the system takes care of the fan. In this mode, the cpu fan starts and stops every 2 seconds or so, which is extremely annoying. Would rather have a continues whine than one that modulates. H

Your idle temps were indeed a bit to high. At about 20C Ambient temp I had those: A GMKTec M6 Ultra that would idle at about 40C and would throttle under all core load even with the lowest tdp setting. It had an issue with the top fan causing some annoying noises every 30-60mins so I replaced it qui
