I considered the K12 but after trying the SER9 settled on the 8845HS K8 Plus. Would love to see GMKtec with a Ryzen 7 260 or 9 270 K series version of the K12.

These are a newer design with better cooling and more features. The M6 Ultra is a refresh of the older 6600H M6 that GMKtec only upgraded to the 7640HS processor. The K8 Plus and K11 have actual AMD supported processors where the K12 has a defective one for the Chinese market. I wasn't very impresse

I'm kind of new to the Chinese Mini PC market. Didn't know anything existed past an Intel NUC. What I do know of GMKtec is the K8 Plus and K11 are the same. The K11 you pay more for a slightly better processor and the silly RGB fan 😊 Other then those two features they're the same. The K12 is newer b

A N based cpu will easily run your photo service and basic websites, but a 100 people minecraft server? Hell no, if you search for N100 mc server experiences you will see it start lagging with single digit players. N95, N97, N150, N200 really doesnt make a difference here. The issue is that minecraf

I ended up with the OCuLink supported GMKtec K8 Plus. Could have gotten the cheaper K12 but it already found that processor to have poor performance by comparison. I'm looking at the Aoostar AG01 dock for my set up in the future. It has a smaller footprint and uses a more robust integrated 800W serv

After helping a number of people with GEM12 issues, not a huge proponent. The two family members which bought GEM12s last year (needed 64GB of RAM) have since switched out to NucBox K8 Plus'. The PCB design is similar, although GMKtec appears to have spent more time on component sourcing & build qua

Will second this, K8 Plus is nice. Was my first foray into mini PCs along with GMKTec's AD-GP1 eGPU, but I wound up returning both cause I don't particularly NEED it right now, and when my (oddly specific) use case becomes a necessity I want something with more oomph and the only thing that really f

Maybe check with r/kubernetes for processor and memory suggestions. I'm unsure how nodes run on efficiency cores as opposed to performance cores. Last time I played with Kubernetes on https://labs.play-with-k8s.com/ P-cores weren't a thing. As for the K12 I'm not a fan of the cut down Chinese proces

If you're talking about the M3 Ultra it's regular Intel like you find in laptops. Doesn't have the processing and graphics performance of the GMKtec K8 Plus like I own. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/4721vs5915/Intel-i7-12700H-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-8845HS And a much better choice than the K12 8745-25

The 255 is slower than the 8845HS. Zen 4 CPU boost underclocked from 5.1GHz to 4.9GHz With the SER9 I even found the 255 graphics performance to suck. Something else to consider. Hoping to see if GMKtec will offer a quality 260 version of the K12.
