Good pc for llm or mini pc?

If you’re short on space you could just grab a Mini PC. Something like the GEEKOM A9 Mega with that AI Max+ 395 is a beast if you actually need some real power.

Geekom A9 Max good for gaming, local AI, daily use and Linux?

AI MAX+ 395 has the best integrated iGPU ( about the same as a mobile 4060 ) at this time, you will need a GEEKOM A9 Mega for this, but for full 4K gaming you need the highest end dGPU you can find. And also a 3D AM5 chip to go with it. In other words, 4K gaming is the top a current beefed up deskto

Any suggestions for an 890M equipped SFF PC?

Yeah, I have been thinking about picking up a mini pc for myself, but with the 388 on the horizon I am holding out for now - can't justifiy the price of the 395+. The Geekom A9 Mega with the 388 and 32-64 GB of Ram instead of the 395+ with 128GB for ~1200$ and not 1900-2000$ and I would be sold. Sad

Super Noob Question: "Openclaw and local LLM. What's the absolute minimum Hardware requirement?"

You don't really want to run your models on CPU. It will be trash or slow. If local, aim for 32b or 70b models (and ofc even they arent really comparable to the mainstream AIaaS models). Currently getting a Geekom A9 mega mini pc, which is a tiny non-macos mac mini. They cant run SOTA models, but th

Just 12 hours left on the Kickstarter for Geekom A9 Mega with 263 backers. Will 37 more people decide last minute to unlock a free game controller for all?

Update for all the critics here: I've received my Geekom A9 Mega about 2 weeks ago and so far I can say: It's a fine, very powerful and very beautiful device. I am happy that I got it through Kickstarter, because this model is still not available in their official stores and when it will, it is prob

Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 96GB, good deal for 1500?

I'm quite happy with my geekom A9 mega (same strix halo with 128 GB) but it's hard to run certain stuff due to low general support. All goes to the damn Nvida and cuda.

Best GEEKOM PC Alternative to Mac Mini M4 for Web Design, Content Creation & Occasional Gaming

The paradox here is memory. To achieve parody with Apple's unified memory support & the absence of LPCAMM, like Apple soldered LPDDR5/LPDDR5x memory produces the closest maximum bandwidth. Otherwise one is stuck with slower, higher power consumption/heat dissipation SODIMM. Geekom's only LPDDR5x mPC

Which mini pc with AMD would you recommend?

Hi, if you’re looking for a mini PC with a fast AMD CPU, plenty of RAM, and fast SSD storage for running PostgreSQL on Debian, check out the GEEKOM A9 Max and A9 Mega. Both support up to 128GB RAM and have fast PCIe 4.0 SSD slots. They’re well-cooled and reliable for demanding workloads.
