Need a reliable mini PC . Should I ditch Windows and go Mac Mini?
I have both: The M4 Mac mini and the Geekom A9 Mac. I may just be lucky but the A9 Max has been fine. I’ve only had it since last December but it has been reliable so far. Is this a good deal for the GEEKOM A8?
I think it is a pretty good price. The Radeon 780m is really nice. I have a Geekom A9 Max and it runs well but some folks have had problems with Geekom reliability. I haven’t had any issues with mine yet. I also have Beelink mini PCs and outside of that SER8 bios issue, they’ve been fairly reliable

Which mini pc with AMD would you recommend?

Just learned mini pcs today
Geekom A8 is nice and priced moderately. Geekom A9 Max is elite on paper, but I have not heard any real-world reviews on it. BeeLink SER9 is the best among the elite ones, especially for what you plan on using it for. Since you plan on doing video editing and want to use Linux, look into Asus NUC 15
