Same. I bought a Garmin Epix Gen 2 Sapphire Titanium about 8 months ago - love it and imagine I will keep it for at least a few more years.

Honestly I checked their roadmap on the official site for Epix Pro Gen2 while buying, and I was so surprised when they dropped the strength coach later. Well, this was my last Garmin, they made us feel like a fool for trusting their word. Never again.

Yeah I'm honestly not a fan of this but I can see it being useful for Garmin models that only come with 2-3 physical buttons. Hopefully, they'll keep the rotating crown to those product lines only. A lot of people who "hates" AMOLED display does not own a current gen display. I've had original Venu and that display was not the best but my current Epix Gen 2 works mighty fine on both batt life and display brightness/readability even after 3 years with over a thousand activities.
