I underestimated emulator in android until I tried it myself

Yeah, the same happened to me lmao I've always loved portable gaming, I've even kept a PSP with me for a long time, but I always thought that emulating on android was kinda unpractical And for some time it was, I remember trying N64 and Ps1 emulation on a Redmi Note 7 with an Ipega controller, and w

Android & OLED screens

My current setup redmagic 11 Air+gamesir g8 Galileo (usb). Parhaps lightest, fastest setup 2 ms latency for it's price and comfort but no vibration ( I don't care and I can use smartphone vibration). Maybe in future will switch to some 9 inch oled tablet and gamepad with TMR and clicking buttons but

Best portable solution under €300 right now?

If you have a good phone, I'd recommend purchasing a Gamesir G8 Galileo and using that. Sold my Legion Go and now use my phone for the same task for much cheaper. Input lag with the controller is negligible. If you were to get a tablet, you'd need a wired controller or one that comes with a dongle,

GameSir 8 Galileo still worth it now?

Asking if anyone has this controller is moot, you are on the Gamesir subreddit, there will be many people that own this. It's good, it's sturdy, quiet; but the D-pad is loud and clicky so I avoid using it on planes or in bed with someone. I use the X5 Lite instead for travel. The G8 Galileo will not

Love it

Forza horizon 6 Controller is a modded g8 Galileo Tablet is a tab s9 2.5k res 120hz 11" Running on my pc, and streaming the game via vibepollo and artemis, dont worry about the latency, as its the same as a series x controller native to pc. I also play alot of elden ring and switch games

I’m looking for opinions on the GameSir G8 +, I’m looking for something IOS and moonlight compatible that is ergonomic and comfortable for long sessions with larger hands, my backbone is great by slightly too small

Consider G8 Galileo, since it is much lighter than G8+ and G8+ MFi according to my googling . I am G8+ user(the one that can run both wired and wireless), I would say wireless mode is not needed at all (noticeable Bluetooth latency), also wireless means gamepad has batteries that makes it heavier. Very happy with vibepollo

Hell yeah, i bough the g8+ a while ago for my tablet, but the latency is horrible compared to the g8 Galileo, so i send it back, and decided to take the "risk" and mod my g8 Galileo to fit the tablet. Was very easy to do, and now its the perfect controller.

Goodbye Thermal Throttling and Hello Seamless Crisp Better Gameplay

I've been using the Gamesir G8 Galileo (USB) on my S25+ for a while, and it's a fantastic combination. I wanted to upgrade screen size due to old eyes (can't read small text on small screen) and ordered a Legion Tab Gen 5 with the Bluetooth Gamesir Galileo G8+Plus (fits the tablet). Pros: The 8.8" t

What a time to be alive

I can attest to what you're saying here. Maybe for a game like COE33 this would be acceptable, as it's turn based and you don't have to move the camera all the time. For me, I already had the G8 Plus and it works fine for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, but for Moonlight/Artemis it is completely unusable f

Retroarch on iPad Mini - Controller Rec?

There is a 3D print to extend the width of the G8 Galileo. I did this for an iPad air and it works perfect. I don't use it often since it is pretty heavy. Using this for the mini might be best since it keeps the USB connection for input latency.
