RomM It is like Plex but for video games. Once set up, you can upload .ZIP, .RAR, .ISO, etc. files of ROMs without even needing to uncompress. RomM scans the games in, can pull metadata from IGDB (free through Twitch Developer Portal to link). You can even play the games direct in the browser via Ja

MCON Controller is Complete Garbage
The main thing that got me with this device was when I watched a video after it had been released, of the guy who designed making out like it was more ergonomic then the Gamesir G8 Galileo, who's he kidding??

MCON Controller is Complete Garbage
That's hilarious. The G8 Galileo feels like a proper console controller. It's even more ergonomic than any dedicated Android handheld I've ever owned. The marketing around this controller is so ridiculous.

Phone + Kishi v2 + GeForce NOW is lowkey the best portable setup
I did the same and I can't believe how much better Gamesir G8 Galileo is for a half price.

MCON ruined clamp-style mobile controllers for me
Yeah, I keep mine in my backpack pretty much permanently. So nice to have at hand all the time. I certainly never did that with clamp style controllers. I've barely touched my G8 Galileo since receiving the MCON.

Can anyone recommend me a robust good build quality version of this, so many cheap nasty crap on the market that wouldn’t survive travelling
I went with the GameSir G8 Galileo to have a controller that does not need recharging. Feels great in hand, works perfectly on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. You can even set the menu button to open Moonlight.

Backbone Gen2 drifting
Time and time again people have been warned against purchasing backbones. I recommend the gamesir brand. The x5 lite or the g8 Galileo (mind you with the Galileo) you should get an anker charger because a regular apple charger can’t sense the voltage it needs to pass through charge. Only caveat. HOW

Saw someone asking about these handheld controllers i know nothing a out them but is the Mocagen any good or what other brand would be considered better. My current set is a RM11s
The GameSir Galileo G8 Plus is, in my opinion, the best one.

Cursed to remove my phone case every time I use the backbone.
The GameSir G8 Galileo is pretty great if you just need the USB-C connection and no Bluetooth. Feels a lot like a regular Xbox controller, and I don’t have to remove my phone case to plug it in. These smaller, more Switch-like ones are super uncomfortable to me.

I underestimated emulator in android until I tried it myself
Yeah, the same happened to me lmao I've always loved portable gaming, I've even kept a PSP with me for a long time, but I always thought that emulating on android was kinda unpractical And for some time it was, I remember trying N64 and Ps1 emulation on a Redmi Note 7 with an Ipega controller, and w
