I love it! It really feels like there are an abundance of features on it. Steaming is good and powerful, nothing like a commercial machine of course, but about 20 seconds for about 8 oz of milk. Pulls good shots, I enjoy the pre infusion and the option to set the temps of my boilers. The "schedule s

I understand now, why E61 is still popular, after 65 years of existence!

I cant lie i dont like my gaggia classic just because i was expecting results close to my flair but quicker and unless its a dark roast its not even close. Im sure its a solid machine but its even worse for steaming (i think its the amazon steam wand the previous owner installed) than my delonghi wi

Boilergate - am I screwed ?

I don’t know. For me, I spent about $150 replacing to aluminum because I had to replace all the gaskets and greases and had to buy all the tools. When i sent the receipts to whole latte love they gave me a gift card for about $200 to cover the brass boiler. I don’t think anyone with an evo has to pa

Are the Whole Latte Love refurbished espresso machines worth the risk? [100]

My Gaggia Classic Pro Evo refurb came with like 2 tablespoons of scale in the shower head, it sprayed like a rusty sprinkler head when I first tried it out). It took me a good hour or two of cleaning/flushing to get it all out. Other than that it's been completely fine. Re-packaging it and sending i

Is Grinder over Machine still true?

Hi, I had a very similar setup: Gaggia Classic and Eureka Mignon Specialità. The espresso from this setup was decent when pairing it with IMS. However, I had to have it repaired many times and the descaling proseces of the espresso machine is takes a lot of time.

Still can’t enjoy my espresso after 2,5 years. Help needed. [Gaggia Classic Pro]

Have you tied going to a cafe you like and tasting s bean you like, take it home and are you getting remotely close? I mean gaggia classic pro right out of the box doesn't have a pod and too high pressure but should still produce drinkable shots.

Upgrading from Breville Barista Express

Tbh if you are going from the barista express to a gaggia without modding you may feel it's a downgrade. You have 3 buttons. 1 turns it on, 1 pumps water and 1 turns the steam on. Thats it. Everything is manual with no shot timer. That being said it will out last most options as its a simple machine

hate to beat a dead horse, but this isn't scale, right?

This is a known issue with the gaggia classic evo pro 2023. The coating of the boiler fails and flakes end up in your cup. You will have to change the boiler. A certified gaggia distributor, especially if you bought the machine from them, might cover the replacement but take this with a grain of sal
