Brand new machine with the brew light not as bright when on, also seems like the water is flowing too fast and I’m not getting any crema.. tried all different size when crushing the beans.. very new to this, am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

Just got a new E24 as well. Same thing for me with the brew temperature light being faint. It's easier to see looking at it straight on. My previous machine was a 51mm, and so it's 18g basket made for a much thicker coffee bed. With the Gaggia I was shocked at how MUCH finer I had to grind to genera

I spent months chasing sour and bitter shots and it turned out to be headspace —> Dose by volume!! [Lelit Elizabeth/Timemore 078s]

There is a related question that I don't understand. The most common beginner setup is a Gaggia Classic Pro, and most beginner guides on internet call for a 18g dose. People getting into espresso literally all get the same advice: a) buy a GCP, b) dose 18g. But the stock unpressurized double-shot ba

RIP Old Friend [$1200]

Looks like a beautiful machine, however it's well outside my price range... $2300 here in Canada. I was thinking more along the lines of the Gaggia Classic Pro E24 or the Lelit Anna 2 PID.

What are the differences?

Color the 49 and 51 are mostly the color codes. EDIT: Posting my commnent from below for clarification. Don't trust the Amazon description.Gaggia in their infinitely Italian wisdom uses Model: RI9380/46 for both the E24 and Evo pro models Brushed Stainless Steel model. My original comment the number

Is this marketplace find a good deal? [$500 budget]

Seems like a decent deal but like another poster mentioned, the gaggia classic Evo pro had boiler coating that flaked off. Google boilergate and try to find the affected models so you can make sure this isn't one of them

Lidl kávéfőző gép

Vegyél egy Gaggia Classic E24 -et (ne az evo pro-t) és örök életre van egy minőségi kávéfőződ amiben bármit megszerelsz otthon.

Gaggia Classic reliability

Gaggia classic pro owner since 2020 as well. I've replaced the thermal fuse 2x, steam thermostat 1x, group head gasket 2x. I replaced the steam valve assembly with shades of coffee to get rid of the drip, and my plastic portafilter handle cracked at some point. Overall, not the worst, but I could se

hate to beat a dead horse, but this isn't scale, right?

Pro Evo from 2023? That's your problem. Look up "Boilergate". The boilers from this particular year and model are coated in a non-stick coating that was intended to reduce scale build up. Instead, it ended up flaking off and flowing through the water paths of the machine. The good news is that boile

Silvia V6 or GCP E24

My current Silvia is a Pro X. I want to mod it eventually. I started out with a Silvia V1 way back in 2024, and loved it for 6-7 years. My current GCP is a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro I bought on a great sale from Whole Latte Love strictly to mod with the Gaggiamate. After gaining experience with that I

[DIY] The Profitec GO steam wand on a Gaggia Classic (Rancilio alternative for 1/2 the price) SOLVED

That is why I came to an idea to see what's possible. I'm not a frothing guy but let's say I wanted to make an ultimate Gaggia classic. 250 cad is crazy money for just a wand. Makes no sense. Good luck with your build and let us know how it goes 🤙
