I love it! It really feels like there are an abundance of features on it. Steaming is good and powerful, nothing like a commercial machine of course, but about 20 seconds for about 8 oz of milk. Pulls good shots, I enjoy the pre infusion and the option to set the temps of my boilers. The "schedule s

Looking for Espresso Machine Suggestions [$500 tops]
Gaggia classic or classic pro (not sure of difference yet) This is the highest quality machine at your price point, but the hardest to use since it lacks a PID. But if you are handy, you can upgrade it for PID or go all the way with Gaggiuino or GaggiMate and it will have most of the features of a $

New to the club, should I upgrade? [500]
Asking for advice here will get you wild answers that waste your money, honestly. Everyone will tell you that you need some super expensive grinder (you don't, it just has to be able to grind fine enough); if you have that? They will find some other way to spend your money on things that aren't wort

E24 Pro?
There is one e24, which is simply a Gaggia Classic pro with a brass boiler. Skip the evo. It’s fine, but you’ll have to replace the boiler with the brass one which is $160. Then you’ll basically have an e24. You might as well get the e24, or the 2019 Gaggia Classic if it’s cheaper. For the evo, they

Still can’t enjoy my espresso after 2,5 years. Help needed. [Gaggia Classic Pro]
Have you tied going to a cafe you like and tasting s bean you like, take it home and are you getting remotely close? I mean gaggia classic pro right out of the box doesn't have a pod and too high pressure but should still produce drinkable shots.

Upgrading from Breville Barista Express
Tbh if you are going from the barista express to a gaggia without modding you may feel it's a downgrade. You have 3 buttons. 1 turns it on, 1 pumps water and 1 turns the steam on. Thats it. Everything is manual with no shot timer. That being said it will out last most options as its a simple machine

[€~400] Beginner espresso machine to replace Nespresso — coming from V60/Aeropress (EU)
If you decide to go with Gaggia, either get the older Classic Pro (not Evo) or the latest model E24. Avoid the Evo model, which has the teflon coated boiler that suffers from "Boilergate" (bits of the teflon coating flake off with use). With PID and 9 bar spring mods, it's a great machine. With Gagg

Which Gaggia should I be looking for? [0eur]
E24 is the best, but being a relatively new model will be hard to find used. Classic Pro Evo is the next most recent model. It should be avoided. The Evo model features a boiler with a plastic coated lining inside. The lining was intended to reduce the need for descaling. Instead, on some machines,

Looking for an espresso setup [$800]
The Gaggia Classic E24’s brass boiler is an upgrade in terms of temperature stability and steam pressure compared to the Evo Pro if you can swing it. Weighing the shot is recommended to help dial in the right ratio repeatably, but you can always opt for the old school route and keep the scale off to
