How do coffee shops get high volume drinks for lattes?
At my shop I trialed a lot of beans that would punch through 12oz of milk and 2oz of syrup. Medium Dark roast, just to the point where there's a little oil developing on the surface of the beans, 20g in 40g out, from an origin in Peru that has deep dark chocolate walnut molasses notes. Many beans ge

Looking for an affordable and easy-to-use coffee machine for the office
Maybe gaggia brera super automatic The whole deal with the grinder, tamper, knock box or something for the grounds will get a bit much in the office Brera is small and light duty

You described a very very very common painpoint for many home espresso drinkers! We actually started our journey with a Gaggia Brera super-auto - bean to cup, just like your Jura (but not as well executed and of the same quality). While we had the Brera, we thought we'd love to explore different typ

What can $999 get you in your respective hobby?
$500 will buy you a Gaggia Brera bean to cup espresso machine and it will be worth every penny. Use some Lavazza Super Crema whole beans and you’ll never need to go out for coffee again. We’ve had one for 7 years, make 4 shots of espresso daily and it still works perfectly.

Best starter espresso machine [$500]
For that amount a Gaggia Brera, or any of the slightly better Gaggia models…worth considering a refurbished unit from someplace dependable such as wholelattelove.com.

What’s a ridiculous luxury that you’d struggle to live without?
I was bought a Gaggia Brera for my birthday, 7 years ago. It's made literally thousands of cups of coffee since, and I've had no issues at all. I just run a cleaning cycle every few weeks, and rinse the internal parts under the tap.

Used Gaggia Brera $199 worth it?
We've had a gaggia brera for 10 years. Had it serviced twice. Beautiful crema. Really enjoyed it. Now having a problem with the grinder just seized up. We will see if it can be repaired. Recurring problem of wasting ground coffee around the brew group.

Good espresso machine for beginners? [$1000]
My Gaggia Brera has been going strong for 3-4 years now. Really good coffee imo, but I only do espresso shots, never used it for milk. Maintenance is easy, just an occasional cleaning. I finally had to dig in and clean out the grinder and it was pretty simple (Im a lousy mechanic). Hope to get many
