Best purchase in a long time [RPG2]
Fujifilm X100VI. I'm a former professional photographer with a ton of gear, and this is my favorite camera I've ever owned

Just found this group [shutter release button] (the screw-on kind) users beware!
As the moderator of r/Fujifilm_X100VI, I've noticed ongoing discussions over time on other subs about soft shutter release buttons (particularly the screw-in accessories like the classic red ones) and claims that they will damage or "destroy" the shutter mechanism on the X100VI or other Fujifilm cam

Ricoh GRIV: Right for Me?
Looking at your selection of photos I assume you prefer tighter focal lengths. Maybe instead of gr4 look into gr3x. Other option but not as compact is fujifilm cameras, x-t50 and x-e5 are small and you can put any lens on them or you can check out x100vi for a compact with built in lens. Also recent

Spain trip
I have had the camera for less than one month. I would say accessories to get are a screen protector for the screen, extra batteries, lens filter to weather seal and some sort of camera strap. I went with squarehood mk 4 you can see it a bit through the viewfinder but not as much as the Hoage I one

Finally X100VI's serious contender Leica Lumix L10
I like the look of it. If it had been available when I bought my X100VI I would have seriously considered it because I did see value in having a zoom lens, I just didn’t prioritise it above everything else. If it keeps Fujifilm on their toes and makes them add better AF to a X-100VII then everyone’s

best digital film cameras in 2026
You’re right, on the Fujifilm x100vi, aperture is basically your main tool for controlling depth of field. Shoot wide open at f/1.8 and you get that nice blurry background with your subject popping out. Stop it down to f/8 or f/11, and suddenly way more of the scene stays in focus. It's one of those

Learning photography for 1st time: Fujifilm X100VI or better another camera?
I'd actually recommend against the X100VI as your first camera, even though it's hugely popular. The X100VI's 23mm f/2 (35mm equivalent) is a great focal length, but as a beginner, you need to discover what YOU like shooting and what focal lengths work for your style. Being locked into one lens mean

Beginner: How should I split my budget between camera body and lenses to be future-proof?
Two years ago, I had a little extra money that was for me and me alone. I could spend it on me and no one would be mad. I went and bought a camera everyone wanted at the time (Fujifilm X100VI) and immediately sold it back because I just didn't like being stuck with only one focal length. Though I'd
