Digital “lomo-esque” camera?
Define lomography, I guess? Are you talking about the boosted contrast and vignetting from the minitar lens in the LC-A and LC-A+? You can get a minitar lens for a number of mounts. Or Fujifilm has a toy mode that does an excellent job. I use this on my Fuji X-Half, and the images are fantastic prin

Took my baby to our last trip to Presa del Llano. Still not sure about the grain tbh. Do you think Fuji will adjust it in the future?🌳
I'm not holding my breath tbh... It feels like low hanging fruit for them to give grain more granularity (pun intended :-P) but considering that the the whole X Half operation hasn't been the viral success they were hoping for, and that the Fujifilm of 2025 is not the same we had 10 years ago we mig

My one complaint
If you have an inkling that you like the X half good chance you'd probably really like it. I got it on sale, and even then, knowing full well I am overpaying for the technical aspects. You're in part paying for the Fujifilm brand and the film sims, but you're also committing to the formalistic exper

Do you still use your X Half? How often?
I just bought it. I’m still studying all the settings before I take it out and use it but it’s one of my favorite cameras. I don’t know why people are hating on it. It feels premium for $650 to me and it’s come with a lot of filters and features that have to be manipulated in Photoshop and Lightroom

Why can't I just get this in digital
Uh, fujifilm X half sounds like exactly what you’re looking for. It’s not X100VI prices (nor quality honestly…)

Japan Street Photography: XF 23mm f/1.4 vs. the new Fuji X-Half? (Currently shooting X-T5)
I bought an X-Half for a recent trip to Okinawa, Japan in Shanghai, China. It was really good fun and I was impressed by the image quality. during the trip I decided that it's a limitations we're too much to justify living with for such an epic and expensive trip ( I live in London in the UK and so

deinfluence me: kodak charmera
i am a camera collector and what drew me to this was novelty + cuteness. not really any reviews at the time i bought it, so i based image quality off of what the retailer said (obv take with a grain of salt). the photos are very low quality. i expected something a little better than toy camera quali

Brand Switchers: Things you wish you considered before switching?
Exactly. I have stuck with my Fujifilm system since my XE-1 in 2014. There is no reason to upgrade because camera tech for still photography is so mature that there isnt significant differences. Heck, even my XH-2 has the same IQ as my XE-1. I focus on taking the photo and not the camera. All brands
