With interchangeable lens
Many say that the FujiFilm X-E5 is an interchangeable lens version of the X100VI. The only things your missing is the ND filter and weather sealing. If you want something something with weather sealing look at an X-T5.

Highly not recommended Viltrox flash
Hotshoes should never be painted, this is friction zone and any paint is bound to be scracted off at some point If the hotshoe is tighter on the X-E5 than it is on your X-M1, then the issue is on Fujifilm for making their hotshoe tighter, not on Viltrox for not accounting on tiny diffrences in toler

Recreated Kodak Bright on Sony a6700
That really depends on who you ask. I haven’t personally used the X-E5, but I can share my experience with Fuji cameras in general. Keep in mind this is just my personal take. While I love the design and the out of the box colors, I’m honestly not a Fuji fanboy. I’ve used the X-S10 and X-T5 and bot

Whinge: Fuji no longer has an entry-level
I think Fujifilm really messed up with this generation’s budget models like the X-T50 and X-E5. They could’ve easily stuck with the older sensor (or even the lower-resolution one from the H2S) and just added IBIS. A few years ago, if you wanted to buy a Fuji, you had clear options: entry-level lines

Advice between X-T5, X-T50 and X-E5
X-T5 has the following advantages over the E and 50. 1/8000 mechanical shutter. 1/250 flash X sync. Weathersealed. Higher resolution EVF. 15fps burst. 2 x UHS II SD slots. Significantly better battery. USB 3.2 gen 2 @ 10gbps. FPS matters to me as I do wildlife and plane photography. https://www.dpre

ITAP of a wild river
I might even stay Fuji the one thing that gave me hope was the XE5 built quality... For better XT6 and XPro build quality. Haven't decided. But the one main thing holding me back is the lens sizes and weight. Personally I thought about a manual Thypoch... Seems a perfect fit in haptics and build qua

Fuji XE5 change lenses?
Hey hello congratulations on your purchase that is an amazing camera For everyday carries "pancake" lenses are the best Fuji has the 23mm f2.8 wr but it's quite expensive, oddly enough it usually ships with the xe5. Your strategy is solid I'm only concern about the size of the lenses that you choose

New 21mm lens for my M
That's such an awesome and fun lens. I use mine on the Sigma BF & Fujifilm xe5 (close to 35mm equivalent) and I enjoy it a lot. Good build quality, nice image quality with own character and I like how Thypoch has such a diverse line up of lenses. If I did not buy the Mandler 35mm, I would buy their

Buy XE-5 or Keep XT-30 II?
I’m the worst at GAS. But I have to say that the X-E5 is arguably my favorite Fujifilm body. And I’ve been through a handful of them. I even thought the 100vi would be the pinnacle of Fuji’s street photography bodies. My wife also just got one a couple weeks ago…but nope. My X-E5 is still my favorit
