Backpack or Tote Bag?
Choose a backpack. After a while your back and shoulders will thank you.I really love Fjällräven Kånken. It is my go to backpack. It is a good looking backpack that (for me) really is easy on the back.

Is this model in this color still around?
I’ve been a fan of Fjällräven stuff for many years and I don’t remember ever seeing a discontinued color of Kånken come back. The only exception is on Fjällräven’s Preloved marketplace; I read somewhere that a lot of the bags sold directly by Fjällräven are good as new and I’ve seen some old colors

What is something that has surprised you that it stood the test of time?
My Fjällräven Kånken backpack. Had it for over a decade and it’s been everywhere with me: trips, uni, moving cities. Still looks fine. Genuinely did not expect a bag to be one of the most reliable things in my life but that’s where we are.

European brands that disappointed you?
I've used hiking apparel and packs from a bunch of European-based brands in the past 2.5 decades. Every single pair of Haglöfs hiking pants I've had has outlived every single pair of Fjällräven hiking pants in my use. (good to know, that both brands make their products primarily in the Far East, des

Recommendations for European travel backpack (personal item)
Osprey 26+6 (43x33x16/21) is the usual recommendation for a quality bag, that passes even if slightly bigger. Fjällräven Kanken is a very, very popular bag, but doesn't completely use the space in the normal version. CabinZero and CabinMax have bags specifically made for Ryanair, those are good qual

Travel gear recommendations for Mexico
For the daypack, I use a Fjällräven Kanken. They are durable, have funky colours, have pockets for laptops, come with a pad to sit on, are quite basic on the design (no excess of straps and zippers), are low maintenance, can handle a bit of rain (though are not waterproof) and come in many sizes. Werktas?

Work bag help! Tote or backpack?
I love a good backpack! Most of my bags are backpacks. They are SOOO much more comfortable, convenient, and cute than any other type of bag! I use a Fjällräven Kånken bag for work and I love it.

What is the "default skin" for your country?
Haha, when I was a teenager and young adult, Fjällräven was mostly known for their hiking pants and jackets, and their tunnel tents strong enough for use in open highlands. I don't know how widely spread the term is, but some called the Greenland jacket an "owl ringer's jacket", as they were somewha
