What’s a brand you’ll never trust again and why?
I've had my Garmin Instinct 2 for about a year now. It's almost comical how much more data I get from my swims compared to the Fitbit Charge 5 I had. Fitbit basically had like duration and extrapolated number of laps from motion. That was it. It was also wrong on even that one metric more often than

Does anyone still love their fitbit?
I just replaced my Fitbit Charge 5 with a Charge 6. It's a data thing too for me. Ten years worth of step data and earned badges give me a strange sense of comfort. The product reliability was fine too. I feel like I did everything I could do to stay healthy. 🤞

Watch or Fitbit
Pixel Watch 4 I used a Fitbit Charge 5 for about a year and a half, and it worked very well. I used it primarily to track walking, so no real focus on the fitness features. I loved the vibrating alarms and notifications. It was slim and lightweight, with the battery clocking in at well over a week w

Small afib detecting watch?
I learned I had afib from Fitbit Charge 5 after several warnings and diagnostic work up. I bought an Apple 9 Watch which does ECGs to track afib. AN EP/cardiologist diagnosed afib from an ECG on my IPhone taken on Apple Watch 9. You need a device that takes ECGs that can be viewed by physician———sin

Charge 5 replacement
When my Charge 5 died the exchange rate was bad. So I bought a Xiaomi Band 9, for 1/5th the price of the Charge 6. I was with Fitbit for 12 years and I'm glad I tried something else. My Fitbit's usually lasted 3 years / 3 typhoon seasons. So for the price difference I figured even if it only lasted

Google retiring all Fitbit accounts 2/26 - Warning especially to minors with Fitbits!
4/14/26 Still using original fitbit account and never let the app update so I have features (like food tracking) that are now paid sub only. Charge 5 now, orig hw was an Alta, I think. Of course this will jinx me now, right? Have gotten 2 reminders to switch to a google account but was allowed to sk

Bip 6 steps way inaccurate
ngas r/amazfit Bip 6 steps way inaccurate Device Support ⌚️ I've had the Bip 6 for almost 2 weeks now. I have worn it dominant and non dominant. I have worn it next to and opposite a Fitbit Charge 5 I also own. Been through all suggested online (AND via the so far OUTSTANDING Amazfit CS!!). The step

My Charge 2 and 5 don't have one exercise screen, they have many. One has heart rate info, another has distance, another has I don't remember ... maybe 5 different screens. I just want to see my HR, maybe occasionally distance or exercise time. Sometimes when you tap to open it shifts to the next sc

Charge 5 just died. Not sure I'll get another one
When my Charge 5 died the Charge 6 cost $300 due to the exchange rate. The price is better now. But the difference between my Xiaomi Band 9 and Fitbit Charge 5 is NOT worth over $150 to me. Especially since the Xiaomi exercise tracking screen is much better than tapping through various screens on th
