Visual proof of PEM

Yeah this is such an amazing tool. My vivosmart 5 broke and I replaced it with an Apple Watch thinking it could surely do the same but it can’t and I miss this feature so much. This post might just convince me to get a garmin again.

Moving on from Fitbit. What’s the next best thing?

When I switched to Garmin I got a Vivosmart 5, which was okay, it was missing a few things but it was cheap. A couple months ago I got a Venu 2 and I loooooove it. It’s everything that Fitbit wishes it were.

Desperately need a cheap Fitbit replacement now that Google has ruined it

I have a Garmin Vivosmart 5. It has a longish watch face the same width as the watchband and is pretty lightweight. It cost between 130-150€ in Germany around 9 months ago. I think one of the older models (vivosmart 3 or 4) was even thinner, in case that helps. No subscription model, and a single ch

Anyone returned to fitbit after moving to Garmin?

I liked the Fitbit hardware. But the app continued to degrade. Basically swapped my Versa for a Vivosmart, doubt I will go back.

tried to jump ship, the grass was not greener

I switched to Garmin the vivosmart 5 or whatever the smallest one was. I miss some things about the old Fitbit but the app is so much better. I am not interested in a round watch like face. If you're not interested in all the bells and whistles, get the lower tier model.

Has MF ruined your ability to talk to non-MF users about calorie deficits?

i must say, i have a Garmin Vivosmart 5, which is about $100, and i have been consistently shocked with how close it nails my TDEE. usually within 100 calories of MF when i'm tracking super strictly.

Is it worth making a change from the Fitbit Air to the CIRQA?

I returned my air today and pre ordered through my local Best Buy. I used a garmin for 3 years and switched to the Fitbit for a month to try it. I agree that the cirqa is not perfect, but the Fitbit air just wasn’t doing it for me. The overall data collected is still the same (hr, hrv, temp, ox, sle

Another long-term Fitbit user biting the dust

My Inspire 3 did the same thing. I went with Garmin Vivosmart as it is still a slim design. I use it for steps as I get a benefit from work for tracking. The secondary reason is for heart rate as I have a heat condition that I need to relay my heart rate to a cardiologist. It is a pretty important p

The vivo Smart line is more Fitbit size. I have the previous generation (the vivosmart 4) and it does well at capturing my heart rate spikes!

Best replacement for a charge 6

Garmin vivosmart range. Or any of their cheaper options, really. Loved fitbit until screen/battery death 2 years in. Garmin still strong at 5 and a half years.
