Looks like a really cool machine. I’m a series 1 pre order customer. This is actually making me think twice, but the fellow at my price point was 2/3rd the price of this machine (without considering shipping to US). I don’t know. It’s the portafilter that comes with the Fellow ES1. The basket falls out really easy. Kind of a crap design. The portafilter on my flair 58 holds its basket wonderfully and it doesn’t come out unless I press both thumbs through the bottom.

Personally, I would never buy a v1 product from a company that has no established history making that product. Fellow also has a sub-par reputation when it comes to build and software reliability. I don’t think the ES1 is user serviceable either, which would be a big reason for not getting it. Just
