Tired of overpriced, inconsistent cafe lattes. Is the Profitec GO + Timemore 064s a good setup for [$1,500]?

I have a profitec go and a Eureka mignon silenzio 55. The Eureka cured my need to weigh each shot and is convenient and consistent. Originally I mostly made milk drinks, but the espresso is so good straight that I acquired a taste for it and cut out a bunch of empty calories. That being said, the pr

New setup recommendations? All in for [$1500-$220]

Fellow themselves list "high-quality food-grade plastic" alongside stainless and brass on the official spec sheet. The early reviews look good but nobody really knows how it ages at year 5. For $1,500+ I'd look at the prosumer brands who have been making these since before Fellow existed. For your s

Even this guy can’t stop staring at my new machine. Now looking to upgrade my grinder, looking for suggestions [$600]

I bought a EUREKA MIGNON SILENZIO 55 about five years ago, and I still love it. Best purchase I have ever made. I do about 8 dosed shots a week, and it has never needed maintenance other than occasionally cleaning the burrs. Super easy to dial in. The main selling point for me was how quiet it is. W

any advice on fixing my eureka silenzio? not broken, i just hate it.

I have a Eureka Mignon Silenzio 55 and it works absolutely fine out of the box. Grinds really evenly and fine enough to choke my Bezzera Luce with every beans I bought so far. You know the zero on the grind dial is not the actual zero point, right? You can go past zero. Also I'm nowhere near the max

Final Decision: Mara X vs. Pro 400 vs. Magica PID - Sway Me [$1700]

I'll answer the short question first: the grinder. I loved my Eureka Mignon Silenzio, but it was a hopper style grinder. I learned quickly that what I like is fresh beans. A hopper would not do. So I got a Single Doser kit off of Etsy for it. That was great, but... The workflow wasn't the best. I st

Never ending "What GRINDER to buy" dilemma... Lessons Learned or Regrets from you all experienced folks.... [$800 ish]

Have you considered a Turin DF83V ? It's a significant change from the DF83. I had a Eureka Mignon Silenzio which I found very competent, but then I had nothing to compare it to except the builtin grinder of a Breville. It's early days yet for my new grinder but I'm finding that it produces less fin

Grinder recommendation [$500-600]

The only concern I've read about the DF64V is some are reporting that you have to use RDT. Dunno how that strikes you. It sounds like the gen 2 chute improvement is a big win. I read good things about Timemore. My bias is to only buy 64mm or 83mm because I can always try out different burrs later. D
