Thanks to this sub, I’m $2k in and counting 😩
All kinds of equivalent stuff with front ports. It is strange that for style reasons they are almost all rear ported now, which is really strange for a bookshelf application. ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2, Polk Audio T15, Fluance Signature HiFi 2

How to choose a DAC , what to look for
What sounds good to me with my equipment and room may sound poorly in your room. As an old guy who lived and repair speakers from the 70-80s none of them compare to my Elac Debut 2.0 B6.5 and matching center speaker. Almost all the old speakers had a very basic cheap crossover. Poor cabinets quality

My Compact Listening Space
Luckily for you, I can definitely answer this question. While I'm currently using the ELAC Debut references, I upgraded from the DB6.2s and am now using the 6.2s with my DAW In another room. I had the 6.2s on the exact speaker stands that I now have the References on. It is definitely 100% worth the

Fosi BT20a MAX Review/Impressions
I have found that the power/loudness varies quite a bit with the MAX depending on what speakers one uses. With my ELAC Debut 2.0 6.2 speakers, the 32v power brick was fine. I moved the amp to my bedroom setup, and with older Paradigm Titan v1 speakers, I need the 48v 5a power supply. And supposedly,

Tidal/Qobuz/Spotify Connect Lossless
Yes basically good (but not high end) (1) vintage Onkyo receiver and vintage KLH speakers using Chromecast audio from my Android phone, and (2) on my PC with an Onkyo receiver, Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 speakers, using an FX-Audio DAC. Also in my car with my Android phone plugged into an Alpine receiver w

Need advice on what to upgrade...
You can upgrade the cartridge that should improve sound quality. What’s your budget? AT-VM95ML is a very good cartridge. But in reality, it’s gonna be speakers that would be the best upgrade to sound quality. I’ve nothing against Sonos. I have 3 of them around my apartment and use them to throw on a
