Outdoor Wifi?
I've half an acre, and my Eero 6+ mesh hits outside pretty well. I've one on each side of the house. Very occasionally it may hit the tiniest extreme blackspot, but I'd say 99% of the garden is covered.

What Wi-fi 6 Router for home is the best value you've used?
I’ve had no issues with my eero 6+ units. They are wired backhaul. All HomeKit and matter devices work flawlessly. Even the ones that are at the edge of the WiFi bubble.

Should I purchase the Verizon Fios Wifi Extender or try another option?
Very happy with Eero 6. Nodes are wired backhauled though. 300/300 service and 300/300 speeds all around the house..

Better home wifi
I would use the Amazon Eero mesh wi-fi system. It is designed for someone who’s not an expert. The set of three Access Points (APs) should do it for your house. You plug one into your existing Cox internet router. It auto-negotiates the connection. The other APs are placed around the house. The APs

Best Mesh For The Money - Black Friday Deals 2025
I like the Asus ZenWifi line (I have Asus XT8 right now), as the security features are included for free. With TP Link, Eero and Netgear you must pay an ongoing subscription fee for the extra security features. People who are considering cost always see that TP Link is cheaper, and that's true if yo

Wifi range not reaching my bedroom PLEASE HELP IM GOING INSANE
Your problem is simple. The router Spectrum gave you is weak, and it is sitting too far from your room. You do not need Ethernet in every room, and you do not need to touch the coax ports at all. Ignore the video you saw. You also do not want a “wifi extender.” Those cut your speed in half because t

New Build - Ethernet cabling
Was it Wifi 6/7 with your old router? I've discovered 6 and 7 work way better than the old one (5 I guess)I would NOT recommend eero max 7 at actual prices, I just got them during a price error at Amazon, I would go with a cheaper system and would not pay the real eero max 7 prices My job is not sup

PS Portal Struggles
I have an array of Eero 6+ doing mesh with Ethernet backhaul, on Att fiber and a hard wired PS5. Everything works brilliantly. OP you need to evaluate your network to figure out where your bottlenecks are. You’re going to want to focus on latency and minimize the number of wireless “hops” between de

Help finding new Network equipment.
The home was built in 1979, is 3 stories, and has phone jacks in every room. I am pretty sure this is old telephone wire and not cat 5, but not 100% sure. I know the lines are also stapled in various places, so I can't use them to fish ethernet through. This is an important thing to find out. If it'

Should I upgrade my Google Wifi (AC1200, WIFI 5) to TP Link Wifi 7 BE11000
OK. For best performance, you need to wire the mesh nodes together (wired backhaul - via ethernet). Or get a router and connect wired access points via ethernet. Is that a possibility? For WiFi 6 I'd recommend the ASUS XT9 mesh system. It's the slightly upgraded version of the system I have (XT8). T
