Any Fellow Marantz M1 Owners Up in Here?

I bought an eero 6 router on Black Friday sale and set it up as a wireless bridge, so that I could switch to Ethernet instead of WiFi for my Marantz M1. Like some sort of a miracle cure, my M1 no longer gets frozen or ceases working anymore. I used to have to reboot my M1 once or twice a day when co

I finally got my Portal running perfectly... but only after buying a new router

I tried all the tips and tricks in this subreddit and on the web. Whether it was moving the router, hardwiring the PS5's internet connection, setting a static IP address, and some other things.

Regardless of what I tried, the Portal's video stream was always a choppy mess, and my input was laggy.

GMKtec K6 Thermals and WiFi Improvements

Hello everyone!

I bought a Gmktec K6 two months ago—this is my second miniPC. I know thermal and network performance are two of the main topics and concerns discussed in this community, so I’d like to share my personal experience and how I’ve managed to improve both. So far, I’m very happy with the

Oxio Internet Review: 2 months in (Based on Oakville, ON)

I've been using Oxio internet for the last 2 months and wanted to share my honest experience. This is what my set-up looks like:

  • 1000 mbps, 30 mbps

I'm in a 2k sqft house in Oakville, ON. The modem + first router is on the main level in the living room. The second router is in the

For anyone having home hub not responding issues, after narrowing down the culprit, I replaced my router and everything is working as it should.

After I joined the new HomeKit architecture I was plagued by home hub not responding notifications. After trying different possible solutions, I read online that someone was having identical issues with the same router as I had, the Netgear r6400. I troubleshooted by resetting my HomePod Minis and r

Is Omada overkill for my vacation rental?

For background, this a rural vacation rental (4000sqft + lots of outdoor space), and is currently running an Eero mesh. I have:

  • half a dozen security cameras, both Wired and WiFi
  • a pretty sprawling HomeAssistant install. I'm growing it with Zigbee, but it also has a couple dozen wifi-connected devi

First time home networking

My family currently has a rented modem and either a router and the eero 6+ 3 pack or no router and one eero working as the router. I'm not currently home but either way, I'm thinking of getting a ucg max to replace the current router and switch all 3 eeros to ap mode and have the ucg max run the act

XGS ----> Back on Eeero

I’ve gone the opposite. From Eero 6+ to the UCG Fiber + UX7 in AP mode and never looked back. Eeros are great but lacks a lot of things that one tinkerer like myself needed.
